Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, looks at today’s meetings and singles out his top three horse racing tips from Belmont & Balaklava.  Good luck, punters!

I like this race. I think it will pan out to be a pretty strong betting races with THE BULL McCABE, INVESTITURE, MEEHAN and AMBER HAZE all backed overnight. Maybe couple them all up in quinellas, trifectas and First 4s etc. As for the victor, I’m a barrier man so I’m supporting The Bull McCabe. He’s drawn the fence and has pace. Probably doesn’t lead but from this marble, but he should be in 2nd or 3rd jog-trotting to the bend. He is 4th up today after a series of solid placings at this level. So all things being even, he gets the most advantages I think.

Trying to work out winners here today is like a chess match. Just putting the moves into place and hoping it unfolds the way I predict. On that theory, I’ve gone for DOMINATION here. He is very fit and has been right there of late at this level without winning. But today he receives a 3kg allowance and has drawn gate 2. His main rivals including KNOTTED who is 3rd up and ready to run a blinder, haven’t drawn as well and will carry more weight. So I think Domination checkmates them all.

It will be interesting to see how this lightly-raced filly PLETTO runs here. She has drawn to go forward and although up in class does come into this with consistent form and is 2nd up. Should get out and go and probably sits up on the pace. Willy Pike rides and her two wins to date, one at this track, were when on the speed. THE NICCONIAN has a big weight and resumes here but can finish hard.
