Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, takes a look at today’s thoroughbred racing and singles out his three top horse racing tips, from Doomben. Good luck, punters!

I just feel this thing COME IN SPINNER has been set for this. He’s from NZ and came here as a travelling companion to ultimate  2 x Gr 1 winner, The Bostonian. But he’s also had 2 starts of his own – well back at the Sunny Coast when ridden for speed, then last start when ridden off the pace rattling home for 4th at Ippy this grade. Is 3rd up, has the dream marble of 3 and just looks deliciously well placed.

PIERINO and SLOW HANDS will make a race of this as both have placed at their last starts and both are in form. But this lightly raced All American 3YO, REST OF THE WORLD, might be pretty handy. Up in grade here having only won at mdn level, in the bush at that, but chased a smart one named The Pines who is yet to be beaten, home when 2nd at Class 1 level last start. Drawn to get the run of the race and should be battling away. Plus, rider ROBBIE FRADD is in sparkling form too.

THE SOLOIST is up from Sydney where she has been toiling away in this grade at the provincials and the bush. From this good draw she can jump and be in the top 6 before unleashing. Has always shown an appreciation for this journey and gets a golden opportunity to show her ability in this. Is very fit and looks to quinella the race with RAISE AN ARMY who has drawn the rails and should get a great run throughout also.
