Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, looks at today’s meetings and singles out his top three horse racing tips from Donald & Goulburn . Good luck, punters!

Gee, this looks a good race for the Mick Price-Michael Kent yard. They saddle up SINGLE CROWN who is having only his 3rd start in a race. At Kyneton last start, they came from the trees to back him. He was $9 early on in betting then firmed up to $5.50 before starting at $6. And he nearly pulled it off. He was well back until they turned, over 1450m and unwound a powerful burst to fail by a head. The extra trip here, combined with more fitness and experience make him look a perfectly placed horse.

Tip: SINGLE CROWN

Richard and Michael Freedman will saddle up the top-weight here in TRIPLE CHOICE. He is 3rd up and finally gets to a trip that he goes well at. But more significant to all that is the fact he will carry just 60kg in a BM 58. This is the lowest grade he has raced in for a long time and he gets the 4kg claim to bring him right into this. Tom Sherry, has the ride and Tom is yet to ride a winner, but his master is former jockey Mark Newnham so he should be well-schooled. Triple Choice can finish too well and win from ISADORA TWINKLE.

Tip: TRIPLE CHOICE

The combo of boyfriend-girlfriend Clare Cunningham and Jason Collett are dynamic on the track too. And they combine here with the emerging 3YO talent in CAPRI LANE. He was heavily supported on debut at Orange and got the bickies, albeit narrowly, over 1000m. He sat near the speed and out-stayed them basically. Harder here but gets a little extra trip which suits his pedigree.
