Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, looks at today’s meetings and singles out his top three horse racing tips from Sale & Kembla. Good luck, punters!
This filly FENYX with Melbourne Cup-winning trainer Danny O’Brien looks nicely in. She will be ridden by Ollie and has started twice thus far, finishing well to grab 4th spot on both occasions. And at this level. So natural fitness and experience should help her. But last start she was just 3 lengths behind Toyetic in that maiden, and he has since won in town. KOGI LASS had placed 4 x out of 4 starts before spell in this grade. She resumed last start and flashed home from well back to finish 4th so looks to be fitter and up to this.
If ever there was a good thing beaten on debut it was this bloke EL COHETE here at this very track. And it was stopped in its tracks 100m from home by its own stablemate. Now with that experience behind him and a tightening of the fitness screws he looks perfectly placed to join the ranks of winners. Settled well back in a similar race on debut and charged home on the slowest part of the track before copping the check. Is a dual acceptor from yesterday, preferring this race. Can’t wait to back him.
Tip: EL COHETE
This could be interesting. The way BRUTALITY stepped up to city class last start was impressive. He looked as if he belonged in town. It was only a maiden at Canterbury but the horse he easily beat home has placed 4 times. DREAM RUNNER, up from Canberra, has wheels too and will finish hard but Brutality looked like a horse who should easily make the leap to this grade. Quinella them.
