Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, looks at today’s meetings and singles out his top three horse racing tips from Quirindi, Beaudesert and Pakenham. Good luck, punters!

I think I’ll be on the Cam Crockett trained mare ARE YOU DREAMING in this. She carries 60.5kg but is coming back a long way in grade having been beaten just over 6 lengths last start in Open company. Now, they ran a track record that day in the 1200m feature event. Are You Dreaming was in 4th to the bend, carving out time herself. In fact, she ran 1.09.46 in the race in finishing 8th. This is 200m shorter but that sort of speed would win this comfortably. BLINKIN LEGEND with 62kg is classy enough to run 2nd.

Tip: ARE YOU DREAMING

I always like seeing a trainer with two runners in a race. Invariably, the stable pick has the better hoop so you know you have that one covered. Doesn’t always work out but it averages out best. We see that here with trainer Greg Cornish. He saddles ZIPTIE and ICE ELITE. I like Ice Elite. At 4th start here, and 2nd from spell, I think he settles back near the rear and should come flashing home late. The trip suits too. Don’t think Greg will land the quinella as DE VEGA Peach may run into 2nd.

Tip: ICE ELITE

Royally related mare LAST BLING appeals the most here. She is by the top Coolmore sire Starspangledbanner from the prolific winner and a Gr 3 winner in there too, Valkyrie Diva. She, of course, is the sister to Makybe Diva, and this little mare Last Bling is a half to 3 x stakes winners. So big shoes to fill. Her only start was a hard closing 4th in this grade and you would think she has come on from there. Carries the same silks as Makybe Diva.
