Wagga R3 – Mdn Hcp 1300m

14:25 (Local Time)

This is an interesting field. I suspect there might be a few up and coming runners here. The well bred REVELLERS is my pick in this. He resumes from a spell here. Was 3rd in this grade at his latest run which was a few months back. Looks to have matured and is in a strong stable. From this gate he probably drops back looking for cover. I think he’ll find it back in 7th spot then hook out and come with a solid run. Quinella bet looks to be SASSY ANNIE who has also drawn awkwardly but has placed this grade.

With the scratching of the inform  toppie LARRIKIN the race is now wide open. SHE’S A KRARAKA is slowly getting better with racing and is 3rd up here. Big chance as is ALL FAIRY PRINCE who broke mdn 2 runs back. But while they are in my box trifecta, I’m on the Jake Noonan horse to win. His name is PUEBLO, who has drawn perfectly, won handsomely and impressively first up. Is 2nd up now but looks ready for these.

I have looked at this race and wanted to plonk for VLADIVOSTOK, what with him being 3rd up and a claim to help, but I just couldn’t find a reason to pass OH CECILIA. She is in career best form winning 2 of past 3 starts by jumping and running and her fitness just kept her in front. Has a 3kg claim here which makes her a weighted special as well….plus has the inside gate. Leads all the way for mine.
