Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, previews Wednesday’s Warwick Farm meeting, with horse racing tips and analysis for all 7 races. Good luck, punters!

Track Condition: Soft 5

Rail Position: True entire circuit

BEYLIKS is overdue for a win. The very well-bred son of Lonhro and Ottoman, is ready to rumble. The trip should suit after a pair of solid 4ths since resuming. The soft track will help too as he floundered on the heavy last run. Good race.

If Beyliks is a main threat so too should be SQUANTO. He ran past Beyliks when 3rd in town last start. He resumed that day so you’d imagine he strips fitter here.

SMART IMAGE might be handy. You don’t see this often, but this 2YO has already won 3 x barrier trials. Watch market.

Tip: BEYLIKS

Lots of chances here. CALIFORNIA AUGUST has had a few starts and has been a leader and a backmarker. Last start, he led and grabbed close to the line over 1400m in men grade. Is very fit and could take catching.

EL COHETE has been scratched.

CELANDINE resumes here. But she raced well placing twice when last in work in maidens won by horses who have gone on with it. Has claims.

Tip: CELANDINE

MATOWATAKPE has wheels. Clocked under 59sec on a wet track for 1000m last start at Kembla with 60kg. Is 3rd up now and looks well placed.

STORMY ROCK has improved every run and last start’s demolition job of a provincial maiden field suggests he is pretty handy indeed. If he has improved further he wins this.

FARAWAY JEWEL was also a last start provincial winner. She was backed as if very smart and duly won quite comfortably. This is harder but she has gears. Big show.

Tip: MATOWATAPKE

Tough race here because each of them has claims. KOSCIUSKO won at Hawkesbury last start beating rival here TAPICONIC soundly. Goes up only 1kg for beating him by nearly 3 lengths. Looks nicely in here and is very fit. The other bloke has talent and will be boxing on too.

GITAN is back in form, well it looks that way if his fast-finishing 2nd in a BM 64 at Kembla with a big weight suggests. Runs home hard.

Tip: KOSCIUSKO

Good betting race. Canberra mare CACCINI is back in form. She came from the tail to win down there last start. Harder here but will appreciate the pace early.

Once these well-bred type fillies find a win they tend to go on with it so expect IRISH ANGEL who won her maiden most impressively last start, to do that.

Goulburn mare NICCONITA rattled home from last on the bend in a strong Bm 70 at Canberra last start to grab 3rd. Gets an extra 300m here and is fitter.

Tip: NICCONITA

BOOMTOWN RAT has raced twice this campaign, both times at this level. He has run 4th in both those races. Up to a trip that suits and is very fit now.

SEEINGISBELIEVING won first up. Was very consistent when last in work, so is honest and gets a 3kg weight allowance this time. Big show.

Two starts from a spell now and SHOWMINDER is ready. Led and won first-up then in the mud over 1550m this grade last start, again led and placed. Is very fit.

Tip: SHOWMINDER

Off the inside draw and given he’s very fit, I think NICTOCK at huge odds might take some catching. He finished 9th last start but the run was better than it looked. And when allowed to lead on his own he has proven he is very hard to catch.

VALDOSTANA is game. When last in work she won 2 races, narrowly, but won them. Has matured over a spell and has trialled. Watch the market moves.

IN LIGHTEN ME likes it a little longer but she has won at this trip while fresh. Resumes here.

Tip: VALDOSTANA
