Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, looks at today’s meetings and singles out his top three horse racing tips from Wagga & Moree. Good luck, punters!

Wagga R1 – Mdn Hcp 1400m

I do like horses that show improvement from run to run and preparation to preparation. This bloke PROPOSE A TOAST wears that crown well here. He’s raced three times to date and has run 6th, 5th and 3rd….finishing closer to the winner each time as he learns what racing is all about. This is not as easy maiden but I sense he can shine. ROYAL FIGHTER would be odds-on for this had he not run a disappointing 6th last start in a similar race. But he was wide that day. Quinella them here.

Moree R3 – Mdn Hcp 1300m

13:55 (Local Time)

The toppie here COMEDY DEEL is onto his 3rd trainer but I think Sue Grills may have him ready to produce. He is bred to take time and has taken time. And he’s now mature and fit enough to step out to a trip suited to his pedigree. Last start, when resuming, he sat wide all the way yet still find the line well to grab 4th in this grade. It was a vast improvement on his previous runs. If he has gone on from that and taken benefit, he can win.

Wagga R6 – BM58 1000m

15:35 (Local Time)

There will be a lot of people keen to see this race. Is STAR OF TENNESSEE a star in the making? Led and won maiden last start with head on the chest by 5 lengths. Different kettle of fish here with DIZZY MISS LIZZY being a seasoned performer at this level. She is fast too so they could clash on the front end. Last start she looked all over a winner, just wilting final stages when 4th in a much stronger race than this. Will really make this young rising 3YO filly work for the win. Quinella them.
