Dubbo R3 – BM50 Hcp 1600m

Probably be a good betting race. I think a lot of the money will come for the in-form SHWANKY DOO who has placed at his past 3 runs this grade and Greg Ryan rides. But, I’m going to quinella him here with SNIPSELVA. And I’m on her to knock him off. She hasn’t won for a long time but has placed 2 of past 3 starts in this grade and last start she finished alongside Shwanky Doo in this grade. This time she meets him 4kg better for being beaten home by a head. That day they drew next to each other in the gates. This time the mare has gate 2 while Shwanky has 10.

Good betting race. Lots of natural speed here and that should suit the Kris Lees mare HARD LADY. She settles then makes ground and with this being a little short of her pet trip, that should suit first up. She has trialled really well and last campaign she raced 4 times and placed in all of them over various distances. Looks to have matured and toughened up. Drawn perfectly to settle about 6th and come with her run. I like her in this.

CREIDNE beat home ANGIE EMM when they last met when both went hard to the early lead and Creidne finding it. This time, however, Angie has drawn inside the other one and thus holds her out. They will make a true contest of this but some horses simply have to lead to win and if Creidne doesn’t get there, she should fold up. The gates to me will make all the difference. Greg Ryan, who knows every blade of grass on this track, rides Angie and she looks a very honest type at this level. Appeals the most to me.
