We like the look of this maiden mare WORLDLY PLEASURE. She was introduced to racing last campaign and ran two good placings in this grade, firstly at Dubbo when leading from the gates, then at Bathurst when asked to sit behind speed. Spelled and matured after that. Now, with that race experience under her belt and this ideal draw, she can be just off them and out kick them late. Perennial placegetter STARS GALAWE can plug into 2nd.
Tip: WORLDLY PLEASURE
ARGIE BARGIE looks deliciously well placed here. And the stars have aligned. Draw is perfect coming from gate 3. Distance couldn’t be any better as she likes to be on pace. Class is right as she was narrowly beaten in a Class 3 last start. Is third up here – prime fitness race – and most importantly, she is very good in wet going and it will be soft at best, possibly even heavy. It’s not often where just about every box is ticked but we get one here with this daughter of Snitzel. We like CRYSTAL KINGDOM to be there at the end for the quinella bet.
Tip: ARGIE BARGIE
This is a more than handy BM 66 but we really think CHARLIE CHAP might have come up in career best fashion. He was great first up when getting home hard along the rails this grade for 2nd at Nowra beaten a nose, then up to provincial BM 64 race and again, in unsuitable 1200m, he made ground late to grab 5th after being 10th for home. Suited here with claim and extra distance and now 3rd up. Good luck. AZCANNYAZ can run the quinella.
