ART OF MORE looks the go here. He is a speed horse and given the weight scale, he should be able to cross and lead these. If James Innes can get him to settle, this trip and as mentioned race conditions, look ideal. He’s very fit and has been runner up 2 of past 3 this grade.
Tip: ART OF MORE
It’s a pretty big assignment for a filly, a maiden filly at that, to win a Gr 3 race against the boys. Especially when she has never raced at this trip too! But we like MIZZY. She has been sent forward past couple and has placed at Gr 3 level being ridden that way. Is super fit and although she led over 1500m last start and was run down this grade, she may get left alone on the lead here and the extra 100m shouldn’t pose a problem. ARAMAYO is pretty promising and he can rattle home to place also.
Pretty even bunch of really fit stayers here. The way CARZOFF circled the field then went on with job to claim the 2100m Wyong Cup last start suggests a few things to us. Firstly he is at the peak of his staying powers and this track will suit. Secondly, the trip is not going to be an issue. He really moved home hard once he found the front last start. And finally, he is well up to this grade as he lowered the boom on a fair few of these. AUVRAY has the class to run into 2nd.
