Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, looks at today’s meetings and singles out his top three horse racing tips from Scone and Donald. Good luck, punters!

This is an interesting field. I suspect the top-weight here, COURT DEEP, might be pretty handy. And, the obvious statement, from his extreme outside draw today, let’s hope he doesn’t get….court deep! He’s only had the one run and it was 4th in what is proving to be a solid mdn. Some winners have emerged from it and city runners too. He was put away to grow and mature and he resumes here. Quinella him up with SYMPHONICO who placed this grade last start.

I loved the way ANOTHER ARLI ran on debut at Gunnedah in this grade. He was drawn deep and couldn’t really slot in so went back. He made ground late for 6th. Then last start, to avoid those trials again, he jumped and roared straight to the lead at Tamworth. That was 1400m, again in this class, and he was caught about 100m from home finishing a promising 3rd. Today is his 3rd race start. He’s drawn closer to the rails than he ever has and it is 100m shorter. Looks the testing material for mine.

I am of the opinion MANNO with Greg Ryan in the saddle today, can take some catching. He led until the shadows of the post when 4th in this grade last start over 1280m. Yes this is a tad further but the tempo early might be slower and besides, he should be a little fitter now too. Leads all the way for mine from MOROTAI who is 2nd up and he did win 2nd up last campaign.
