1. Jigsaw (13)
Talk about finding a purple patch of form. Wow. This bloke is flying. Seems to win everything he goes in both here and abroad. He’s very fast, will lead these, beat a better field last start and looks the winner.

Proven Winner
2. Caballus (9)
Interesting runner. Led all the way to courageously win the Gr 1 Newmarket handicap over this distance. His rival Jigsaw always leads but this bloke will keep him honest in front. Has claims.

3. Rey Magnerio (5)
Good horse and he is second up in this. On his day he can sit off the pace at this level, and finish brilliantly. Was only average in similar race when resuming but does come to hand quickly. Local champion jockey to ride helps. Big show.

Place Performer
4. Magnificent Andy (2)
More than handy on his day. Is resuming here though and they are going to go very fast so may need the run.

5. Jedibeel (7)
Very good Sydney galloper. Two starts this campaign have been wonderful efforts and tremendous trials leading into this. Will sit off the pace probably one off the fence with cover and then come down the centre of the track with a great finish. Must be in your numbers.

Ready to Fire
6. Spywire (1)
Has had a fair bit of Racing in recent months. But is holding form very well. That can be an advantage over this distance. Likely to run on hard. Has Strong place claims.

7. Oscar's Fortune (12)
Former star West Australian galloper in these types of races. Two starts this time back from a spell suggest he maybe near best form again. This is hard but is too honest not to be considered.

8. Rope Them In (10)
He will be big odds but looms as the Darkhorse. Finished brilliantly to win easy race last start but it was the manner in which he hit the wire that makes me think this could be an interesting affair for him. Have in your numbers.

9. West Star (4)
Used to be very competitive at this level but last three starts over the past seven months have been woeful. Resumed from a spell and was beaten five lengths by Rope Them In last start. Not keen

10. Sisu Warrior (8)
Resumed from a spell last start here and finish strongly to win an easy event this trip. Track was soft and he was paying $81. Much harder here and that was his first win in 10 starts at the circuit. Not keen.

Good on Soft
11. Smooth Chino (11)
Very exciting galloper. Has started seven times for six wins and a narrow loss last start when resuming from a four month spell. Can and has run very fast time this trip. Up in grade but exciting Horses always must be considered.

Ready to Fire
12. Talkanco (3)
Good and honest three-year-old filly who always runs well at this track. However her races have been in weaker Fillies events and may find the grind too tough in the last hundred metres.

Track Talent
13. Luana Miss (6)
This filly is talented and tough. And may be the one charging down the outside at good odds. Is second up from a spell here after running fourth in the Roma cup behind a few of these. Has a powerful burst when she wants to.

Ready to Fire
14. Repossession (Em1) (14)
Handy sprinter but this looks beyond him. Missed a place in the Roma cup last start and this looks tougher.
-
Good on Soft
15. Cessation (Em2) (15)
Unlucky not to have been in the main field as her form is solid. Bad draw here but she has plenty of early speed so should get across, however last hundred metres is going to be hard.

16. Cut The Talk (Em3) (16)
Handy sprinter but tends to finish just behind the good ones. And horror draw here is no help.
-
Good on Soft
17. Sky Duke (Em4) (17)
Unlikely to obtain a start here. And he is an unreliable conveyance anyway. Not keen.
