Magic Millions – The Wave Preview

Smart when right and looks back to his best. Won last start at Eagle Farm when dropped in grade and stormed home to beat rival Brookhaven this trip. WFA here so he actually meets him 4.5kg better off too. Likes it wet or dry and is now super fit. This is probably his pet trip too. Big show.

Consistent and tough and will be 5th up going into this. Has won this journey and last start was doing best work late when 3rd only 3 lengths behind Loch Eagle. Meets him 4.5kg worse but is right in this.

Handy on his day but is inconsistent. Likes it wet and did win Wyong BM68 2 starts back with 58kg. Find this harder but is a place threat.

Proved he was tough and that he’d be a big player here last start at Eagle Farm when he led all the way to beat a strong field over a mile in a stakes race. Is even fitter now. That’s great form leading into this.

Probably at his top now and must be considered. Carried 2kg more than Gold Bullion over a mile last start and made ground late when beaten just over 2 lengths by him. Is 3rd up now and has won up to 2000m. Looks well in at WFA scale.

Is trained here so that’s a plus and is a winner up to 2100m. However, he was safely held by Gold Bullion over a mile last start and not likely to beat him here either.

Has been steadily improving each run and getting stronger. Won over 1500m in stakes grade at Eagle Farm then on speed all the way when solid 4th to Gold Bullion last start beaten just on a length. Meets him .5kg better here. Place show.

Consistent restricted grade mare who has placed at past 3 runs latest over 1850m. This is harder but does run home well. Is also very fit. Does drop a lot in weight at WFA so can run on into a place.

Improving mare. Is stepping up in grade here but did lump 58.5kg last start to win in handy time over a mile making ground late at Randwick. Is 3rd up and should run well as she is honest.

A youngster who can run a bit and did place over a mile last start in a weaker race at Eagle Farm but this should best him.

Has never raced this trip but did make impressive ground late from 13th on home bend when 4th in Quality mile race under 58kg last start. Ran on like this trip will suit. This is harder but is on an improvement curve.
