1. Bittercreek (15)
Tough colt who runs home hard but will need to navigate a course between runners as he will have to be taken back early. Carried 2kg more than Snitzanova and was beaten a long head last start. Certain to dash late.

2. Give Me Space (21)
Is very talented and is the dark horse. And is improving every run. Got back to 14th on the bend before unleashing a powerful burst to claim the 1300m Gr 3. Extra trip helps and he looms very large.

3. Dawn Service (4)
Is 2nd up here and is undefeated 2nd up. Is also a dab hand in the wet. Drawn perfectly and probably sits in top 3 to the end. Loves this journey and may be in this finish.
-
Good on Soft
4. Catoggio (19)
Poorly drawn so no doubt goes hard early to find the front. Won in good time this trip at stakes level in November at Flemington. Led and run down late last start when 5th to Give Me Space. Will be harder to catch this time.

Ready to Fire
5. Depth Of Character (16)
Is a stakes winner at this trip but resumes here and he wasn’t racing well prior to spell. Not keen.
-
Good on Soft
6. Snitzanova (9)
Had won a 1600m Gr 3 on a good track then in the mud last start in the Sandown Guineas over a mile won again this time beating Bittercreek. Has raced 4 times and won 3 and seems to be getting better every run. Big show.

Proven Winner
7. Bosustow (10)
Handy type who can place. Was beaten just on a length by Bittercreek, then was beaten a long neck by Catoggio before last start losing to Give Me Space by just under 2 lengths. Is fit and can place at big odds.

Place Performer
8. Shangri La Express (14)
Was a good 2YO but his 3 starts as a 3YO have been average. Led and weakened out of a place in a BM 78 last start.

9. Street Chase (12)
Very consistent and is getting better all the time. Up on speed last start in the 1300m Vo Rogue and went down a nose to the smart Give Me Space. Certain to be in the firing line all the way.
-
Ready to Fire
10. King Of Roseau (3)
Better suited here than when resuming last week over 1100m. Mind you, despite being beaten in a very fast run race by Private Harry, was making ground late and may sneak a place here at big odds.

Ready to Fire
11. Cosmic Fire (2)
Had hardened up a great deal in recent starts and off this great draw he looms large. Handles wet or dry and knows how to hit the line as he did last start when travelling just off the speed before getting home on top in the Sunlight Consolation last week. This is tougher but so is he know. Big danger.

12. Hella Fast (8)
Lightly raced at just 4 outings but has shown enough to say he is an each-way hope here. Plugged on well when 3rd to rivals here Give Me Space and Street Chase last start in Gr 3 Vo Rogue. Drawn to travel in about 5th to the bend and is honest.

13. Dance To The Boom (18)
Unbeaten in 3 race starts to date including a stakes win at Gosford last start when on speed all the way. Where does she get to from this bad gate? I suspect she drives forward. Has untapped talent so may well skip away as they straighten.

Proven Winner
14. Bauhinia (20)
This seemingly bad gate will not be an issue. Only needs clear room in the straight as she will be near last until the bend. Lightly raced but highly gifted. Is the fastest horse in the field and this track will suit. Looks the winner

Ready to Fire
15. Zoubaby (7)
Never raced over this journey but runs like it will suit and she should get a very cushy run throughout. Is 3rd up here too and last start was hitting the line hard when 4th to Give Me Space in 1300m Vo Rogue. Looms as a major threat.

16. Yes Lulu (17)
Stakes placed filly now in top form winning past two starts on the Caulfield Heath. This is a world of difference but since turning three she has worked out this caper. Surprise to see her win but no surprise to see her improvement curve continue and she be right there late.

17. Arriving Home (11)
Seems to be very talented and improving with every run but will need to be as this is strong. Unbeaten in two starts to date, latest winning a BM 72 at Randwick over 1300m being just off tempo all way. Tough draw here too but untapped talent deserves a look at.
-
Proven Winner
18. Tuileries (23)
Drew the fence last start and was a mile too good in a Randwick midweek BM 72. Drawn the carpark here in a field that is huge and many lengths better. When you look at it like that she can’t win, but she is an x-factor filly with untapped talent and if she can get in she should prove hard to hold out. Lots of ifs in that though.

Proven Winner
19. Hell To Pay (5)
Ran himself into contention over the past month, firstly with a strong 3rd, behind the smart Tuilleries at Canterbury then winning handsomely in maiden grade but a strong maiden at Sunny Coast. This is harder but can run on.

20. Territory Ash (22)
Has won just one race from 16 starts. That says enough.

Good on Soft
21. Bollinger Miss (6)
Was showing talent enough back in Oct to be considered a hope but past 2 runs have been shockers.

22. Blitzum (1)
Drew the fence when easily winning Ipswich maiden and has the fence here but this is 10 lengths stronger. Not likely.

Would not win this with a sizable headstart.
