1. Storm Boy (10)
Looks to be the ideal type for the hustle and bustle of a race like this. Is probably the best horse up from Sydney and from this gate will drive forward and be on speed all the way. Then the bone and muscle of the Waterhouse/Bott training program should kick in. Big threat to win this.

Proven Winner
2. Spywire (12)
Another one with a lot of pace who, in all three runs to date, hasn’t been headed from the get-go. Only defeat was when he was run down on the line by the smart Highness and since then destroyed a 2YO field here last week. Is rock hard and will be right up there all the way.

3. Parkour (17)
Has finishing power and if he gets a cosy run he should be right in this. Gets back and will need to from this horror draw. last start at Randwick he really wound up late this trip and looked smart racing away. respect his power.

4. Highness (4)
Looks the dark horse in the field. Sat just off the speed when resuming in the Wyong Magic Millions yet powered late to claim Spywire near the line. This being 100m further should appeal. These colours have won this race before. He has drawn to get the perfect run too. Must be in your numbers.

5. Wolfgang (2)
South Australian with loads of talent. Has won his past two including a gutsy win at Doomben this trip on a slow track beating Defiant Boom and carrying 2kg more than him. Has come up with the same gate and same jock this race too so looms large.

Proven Winner
6. Vianarra (15)
Maiden galloper who is improving all the time. Has p[laced in recent starts behind rivals here Arabian Summer in Melbourne and Parkour last start in Sydney. Draw is woeful and may find it tough late.

Good on Soft
7. Mishani Hercules (1)
Yet to run a place in 4 weaker races. Can’t win this.

8. Arabian Summer (9)
Looks the one they all have to beat. Just knows what to do and how to win. Led all the way to very easily account for Parkour and Vianarra at Ballarat then came to Qld and sat off the speed before racing away to win last week here. The quick back-up suits her and should finish very hard and claim the prize.

Proven Winner
9. Mishani Aloha (8)
Likes to lead as do a few of these and may find it hard late. Her two wins thus far have been on heavy tracks both in town, so if it rains she has claims of an upset. Completely run over by Storm Boy last start on a good track.

Good on Soft
10. Poster Girl (6)
May run into a place late here at big odds. Has finishing power and is improving every start. Good 2nd in good 2YO field with topweight two starts back and last run was finishing hard from midfield when 2nd to Storm Boy. What helps her is that she can sit back and run on.

Ready to Fire
11. Erno's Cube (7)
Not a bad filly this one and is getting better every start. Sat off the pace on a soft track last start at Randwick when finishing hard for 2nd to the smart Straight Charge. This is harder but does finish off and there will be a lot of speed early in this. Place.

12. Jenni's Meadow (5)
So hard to assess her. One run to date resulting in a maiden win at Moonee Valley in slow time on a good track. Ran home hard that day. This looks many lengths better and that slow time worries me.

Proven Winner
13. Territory Ash (14)
Might be a little moody but has finishing power when she puts her mind to the task. Finished hard to knock over Poster Girl easily at the Sunny Coast then got back and ran on well when 4th last week to Arabian Summer here. The trip should suit her. Place.

14. Mishani Ego (13)
Poor draw is no help and raced like a tired filly past couple in weaker races. Beaten 4 lengths when fading 6th to Arabian Summer last start and meets her 2kg worse off. Not keen.
-
Good on Soft
15. Mishani Express (16)
Has to go back from this gate and that will hurt as this big field will be hard to navigate. Has talent and has run good races around a few of these. But will be spotting the best ones too big a start when they turn.
-
Good on Soft
16. Sheza Chiquitita (11)
Only win from 4 starts was by a nose at Toowoomba in a maiden. Isn’t up to these.
-
Good on Soft
17. Spirited (3)
Has a lot of talent as shown in only start when 3rd to Wolfgang. But probably wont get a run here. Might place if she does.
