Gr 1 Verry Elleegant Stakes

Always game, always gutsy and is always hard to beat at this track. Terrific 3rd to Fangirl when resuming and is fitter now. Bold showing expected as he looks to get a great run just behind the speed and using no gas himself.

Not given a great ride last start when resuming and 9th, beaten 5 lengths to Fangirl. Is considerably better than that. New jockey here helps. Second up in this and with clear running he may well cause an upset at huge odds.

Showed good speed and fought on well in unsuitable 1400m behind Fangirl when resuming last start. Better off this trip but a couple of these can sprint home faster than he can.

Started to make ground at the top of the rise then was blown away by this thing in pink whizzing past called Fangirl. Wound up 5th. Will benefit from the outing and should be in the money.

Gr 1 winning stayer from last prep and likely to go to the lead here. Ran a nice trial recently. Will run them along but Fangirl may well be suited by that. Later this campaign for this guy. Did win first up last prep, however.

Charged to the wire like all the others chasing Fangirl last start and to get 4th was commendable. It was a good, solid run and he will take benefit from it. Is 2nd up here and did win 2nd up last prep but this is harder.

Was 6th to Fangirl last start and was donkey-licked it must be said. In this race he probably goes to the lead or vies with Just Fine for it. Place at best however.

Really good stayer probably even Gr 1 level now. But, resumes here and has only ever won 3 races – all over further than this and in weaker gtrade. Not keen.

Former stablemate of Verry Elleegant and has taken over her mantle as probably the best WFA star in the land. Her win last start was outstanding against most of these and she looks likely to win again which is fitting in this race named after her mate.

Talented Gr 1 winning stablemate of Fangirl. Comes up from Melbourne where she was no match for the great Mr Brightside and when Mr Brightside met Fangirl he bowed to her ability. So, despite being talented she is gunning for a place only here.
