Preview – Gr 1 Flight Stakes

Has been the benchmark 3YO filly this year and certainly deserves to be the favourite here. She’s beaten these every time they race winning her past three. Draw is awkward but she has the talent to get across and find cover. Is very smart.

Is super smart and very consistent. Chased home Tiz Invincible in both the major lead ups to this race and last start sat on speed when 2nd to her. If allowed to settle a pair of two back from the speed she may well finish too hard for the favourite this trip. Is very tough.

This filly may be the actual one to beat. She is very fast early so will take the lead and if she can control at her leisure, which it appears as though she will, she will kick away over the rise and they may not catch her. Ran 3rd after leading to Tiz Invincible last start but this race will be run at a different tempo.

Quality Queensland filly who tried to run with Tropical Squall early last start in the 1400m Gr 2 Tea Rose but wilted late finishing 13th. Runs better when ridden off the speed.

Nice filly. Likes to get back and find her legs early. Won Class 1 at Hawkesbury with head on her chest then stepped up to Gr 2 level and ran home from 12th on turn to grab 4th behind Tiz Invincible over 1400m. May sneak into a place here.

Still a maiden after 8 starts but has foot on the till. Ran home for 4th beaten less than 2 lengths to Tiz Invincible in the Gr 2 Furious over 1200m, then did same thing this time running 5th in the Gr 2 Tea Rose. Screaming out for this journey on her home track.

Is the knock out horse. Comes up from Victoria where she hasn’t raced much but has shown stunning finishing power. Will get back but can charge home and if the track favours that style she is a major threat.

Is bred to be smart and has shown provincial level talent winning two low key races but this will test.

Another maiden galloper. She has raced 6 times and placed just twice. Did make good ground late as a $91 chance behind Tiz Invincible in the 400m Tea Rose when 6th. Was doing best work at the end but this is very hard.

Has ability and could make her presence felt here at odds. Has won in town over 1400m and last start did settle near last in the big Tea Rose field before hitting the wire well when beaten just 4 lengths. Place show this journey.

Another maiden with ability. This may be too hard but she has twice placed at this track when hitting the line hard. Place hope again.

Will win races maybe even a good one, one day but not today.
