- Morphettville - Race 7
- (2000M)
- April 27, 2024
1. Pulchritudinous (7)
One of the best stayers in her cohort in NZ who easily won the NZ Oaks at gr 1 level last start in fast time. Now with gai and Adrian and she probably rolls forward. Likes it wet and does look better than these if she races up to her very best.

Proven Winner
2. Wings Of Song (9)
Seems unstoppable. Has won her past 6 starts in a row including the 2100m Tasmanian Oaks and last start stormed home to win the Gr 3 Auraria over 1800m at this track. Can stay and knows how to win so must be a strong contender.

Proven Winner
3. Positivity (8)
Very classy New Zealand filly who is on the rise. After finishing hard to win the Gr 3 Sunline Vase over 2100m, she ran a bold 2nd to the smart Pulchritudinous in the NZ Oaks over 2400m. They ran good time that day. Has to be considered.

4. Serasana (3)
last prep, sat up on speed all the way and proved way too strong for the talented Arkansaw Kid in the 1600m Gr 2 Sandown Guineas before being spelled. Hasn’t shown that sort of fight in 3 runs this time up but is getting fitter. Can sneak a place.

Ready to Fire
5. Queen Of Dragons (2)
Good filly who likes it wet and is now very fit. Shocked when on pace in the damp and a comfortable winner at big odds in the Gr 2 Kembla Classic over a mile before taking on the silk brigade and running a game 4th to NZ superstar Orchestral in the Gr 1 Vinery this trip. Liks to travel on speed and this race looks perfect for her.

6. Vibrant Sun (12)
Keep a close watch on this filly from Melbourne. She has wheels and can stay all day. Up near pace when 2nd up and was entitled to wilt final stages but came hard late to narrowly win Gr 2 at the Valley over a mile last start. is much fitter now and looms as a major player in this if she can get in early. Draw is a worry.

Ready to Fire
7. Mollynickers (15)
Has loads of talent and is very fit. But did disappoint a little at past 2 starts when heavily backed in similar company. Last start was doing best work late when coming from near last on the end in the Gr 3 Auraria won by Wings Of Song. Ran 3rd that day in a run that suggested this trip would suit. Keep safe.

8. Coco Sun (4)
Seems to be peaking at just the right time. Her 2 starts this prep have been easy wins, albeit in restricted grade but both times giving the impression this trip will suit. Big step up in class but knows how to win.

Proven Winner
9. Qali Al Farrasha (19)
Kiwi star on the rise. Beaten a head by Positivity in the Gr 3 Sunline over 2100m then backed up and was a solid 3rd to rivals here Pulchritudinous and Positivity in the big Gr 1 NZ Oaks. Is very fit.

10. Quickster (14)
Awkward draw here is a worry as she will be midfield looking to find a spot early and may have to cover ground. Is well up to this standard as he strong finishing 2nd to Wings Of Song proved last start in the Gr 3 Auraria here over 1800m. Place show.

Ready to Fire
11. Concello (6)
Smart filly who is getting better with racing. After finishing hard from midfield to score at the provincials over 1500m, she stepped up to Gr 3 grade, well it was a better class than that in a form race that has proven itself. She ran 3rd and just ahead of her was Autumn Angel who came out and won the Gr 1 ATC Oaks. Made up many lengths that day in the mud. Has claims.
-
Good on Soft
12. Private Legacy (10)
has ability as past few runs indicate, latest when coming from 16th on bend and finishing 6th to Good Banter and Autumn Angel over 2000m on heavy track in the Gr 3 Adrian Knox. That was very strong form race. Keep safe.
-
Ready to Fire
13. Into You (11)
Has the makings of a smart stayer down the track. On pace and beaten a nostril last start in BM 70 at sandown over 2100m. Is fit but not drawn well so may struggle late.

14. The Autumn Belle (16)
Consistent and has talent Badly drawn though. Her mum was 3rd in an Oaks and also ran a sub 2 mins for 2000m which very few horses are capable of doing. Anyway, this filly can run on which she did last start when beaten 4 lens by Wings Of Song here in 1800m Gr 3. This trip should suit.

15. Bon Mistress (5)
Is handy and has a nice gate but did finish 7 lengths behind Wings Of Song and Quickster last start here over 1800m. Hard to see her beating them home.

Good on Soft
16. Infinity Imperial (17)
Interesting filly. Bred to sprint and did lead all the way to easily win a 2000m Cranbourne mdn last start on a damp track. This is lengths harder but she does have good staying talent.
-
Good on Soft
17. Harvest Moon (18)
may not get a run but has staying talent and will be thereabouts all the way. Showed that at $81 last start when a courageous 4th to Wings Of Song in the 1800m Gr 3. Will be near speed all the way.

18. Seeking Stardom (13)
Has some talent and likes to lead. Did that to win a BM 56 by 6 lengths two starts back. Led and wilted when 6th to Wings Of Song in the Auraria Gr 3 last start. Very, very rough place hope.

Maiden galloper who wouldn’t win this with a headstart.
