1. Streisand (11)
J: B Melham
T: C Mcdonald
Smart filly who is already twice stakes placed from 2 starts to date. Yet to win a race, but has speed and will be in this for a very long way.

2. Lady Of Five (9)
Best Value
J: A Thompson
T: Peter & W Hulbert
Down from Queensland for this series and has class. Led all the way and ran fast time to win on debut at Eagle Farm, then up in weight and strong 2nd in a similar race next run. Has trialled down in Vic for this and must be kept safe.

3. Ghana's Akan (12)
J: J Melham
T: C Maher
Will take a good deal of benefit from debut run when near speed and fought on strongly for 2nd at Geelong. This is harder but that expected improvement curve should see her right in this.

4. Leopard Shark (13)
J: J McNeil
T: C Douglas
Bred to run all day and mature as a 3YO, but on debut was on speed all the way when tough 3rd. This is a little harder, and she may have to take a sit from this bad gate, but surely she is the type to take great improvement from a run like that. Can figure.

5. Gin Twist (5)
J: L Nolen
T: B, W & J Hayes
Has pace and on debut was on speed, in fact turned for home in front before running 3rd, beaten a head by the winner. Fitter now but this is also stronger. Place show.

6. Angels Fury (10)
J: E Brown
T: C Maher
May actually be the one to beat. Has won 2 jump outs in stylish manner and is on debut here. From the top juvenile yard in the land, and would not be in this race first up if connections didn’t rate her. Tough barrier though. Watch betting moves.

7. Expensive Taste (8)
J: H Coffey
T: Tony & C Mcevoy
Yet to race but unbeaten in 2 impressive jump outs. Watch market, but is in a powerful stable, so must be considered.

8. Explosive Magic (7)
J: C Gaudray
T: L Howley
Yet to race, and there are some fast ones here. Has had 3 jump outs and scored in one at Kyneton, but I sense there is a bit too much class at this stage to contend with. Not keen.

9. I Am Aria (1)
J: M Dee
T: M Walker
Beautifully bred by I Am Invincible and is on debut here. Has shown a great deal for multiple Gr 1 winning trainer Mark Walker for him to have her here first up. Has placed in 3 jump outs to date. Keep safe as she has the inside gate.

Ready to Fire
10. Jadzia (2)
J: J Childs
T: G Begg
On debut also and is from the powerful Grahame Begg stable. Did win a trial at Sandown comfortably a week ago. May pay to watch.

Ready to Fire
11. La Gitana (3)
J: L Currie
T: B, W & J Hayes
Nicely bred and is getting faster and fitter with every public appearance. Has won past 2 jump outs in good style. Certainly will go forward and be in this for some time.

12. Orchid Sky (14)
J: J Allen
T: P Kearney
It took 3 jump outs before she won one of them. These may go a bit quick for her.

13. Queen's English (4)
Best Bet
J: L Neindorf
T: Anthony & S Freedman
If she runs up to her pedigree she will win. Both her parents, Snitzel and English, were Gr 1 winning sprinters, and she seems to have a fair share of their talents. Two jump outs thus far, 2 comfortable wins. In a powerful stable and looks ready to make her mark.

14. Rubi's Choice (6)
J: B Mertens
T: G Eurell
Has shown talent against some smart ones in jump outs, but this is acid test. Watch betting.
