Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, looks at today’s race meetings and singles out his top three horse racing tips from and   Launceston   – he is confident. Good luck, punters!

Seems to be a few in this that are just non-winners and probably will always be that way. NEV’S BOY can’t be placed in that group as yet. He has had just the one start and make good good ground late to finish 4th. It was at Hobart so the field was useful and he was beaten in the end less than a length. Should take a great deal of both benefit and fitness from that outing. Bound to charge late.

Interesting race. I know that there will be much competition as they swing but I like the way the top weight MILITARY LAW hits the line. He showed late wheels when resuming last start and has done nothing but improve since arriving in Tassie after starting his life in South Australia. Looks to benefit from that opening run here over a slightly longer trip too. We all NEEDADOLLARBILL who is in form. Definite quinella bet for mine.

Oh, I do think today is the day we see EXOTERIC finally bounce back tonight. And it’s well overdue. Last start he made ground in a stronger race to finish 6th proving his fitness is there now. I see him actually loving in about 3rd here and with 400m to go moving strongly into the race. He’s weighted to run boldly and on his best form he wins with a leg in the air. But, yes, it looks as if his best form is beyond him but he just might have enough sparkle in him to land the chocolates tonight.
