Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, looks at today’s meetings and singles out his top three horse racing tips from Moruya &  Gawler.  Good luck, punters!

I think we have found one here that just looks a safe bet. KING AND KING is trained by the McEvoys and has the inside trap here. He is 3rd up and last start he finally showed signs of maturity and understanding of what this racing game is about. He was an eye-catching 2nd in this company. He, along with MELODY MAN, has been well-tried overnight but the other horse has drawn gate 10. They look the players but all the momentum is with the King!

What I like about the Peter Blanch-trained AZZUREOUS is that he is on the improve. That and the fact he has never been beaten at this trip, he has drawn to be 4th with cover throughout the run and Paul Gatt rides today. His only failures, two of them, have been when he’s been stepped up to 2000m. Fresh here and looks ready to be too fast late for his rivals. Maybe quinella him up with RAPID RAISER.

I do think the improving 4YO, CRYPTO CURRENCY, can get the cash here, because of that very reason – he’s on the rise. He’s only had six starts to date and two runs back he beat this grade at this track by leading all the way. Now, it was over 1500m so coming back 300m is a challenge. But speed horses can handle that, traditionally. Last start, a few weeks back, he ventured to town and after being on pace over 1550m, he wilted to run 5th. This is much easier and I think he will just be too strong late this trip for them. The topweight, CARBONE is handy this grade too. Quinella them.
