Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, looks at today’s race meetings and singles out his top three horse racing tips from Gawler this afternoon.

I love home track advantages and in this race CHICO FIESTRO has not only that, but the inside gate. Looks to me to be handed this race on a platter. He will jump nicely and probably sit in 3rd on the fence, smoking his pipe waiting for a run to appear at the top of the lane before exploding away. Only had the one prep to date and he did manage to run a placing here in this grade. You expect him to be stronger, more seasoned now and hungry for success. JOE’S CHOISIR is unraced but is in a strong stable. Quinella them.

I like the fact the connections of SMART VISION have kept him at this trip for this his 3rd start this prep. He has raced 17 times in his life and run a few placings but never seemed seasoned enough to win a race. So he was tried more often than not over longer trips and he just wasn’t strong enough. But, he has shown in two starts this time up in this grade, that maybe he is now. Maybe the penny has dropped. And I think he can be 5th to the bend and finish just too determinedly here. JEAN’S GLASS is consistent at this level. That’s my quinella bet.

With the talk of Bitcoin on the global slide and all the crypto currencies hurting along with it, today could well be the omen day to get some of that lost cash back by wagering on CRYPTO CURRENCY in this race. And, his past three runs suggest that’s not a bad idea. Did win a Bm 54 at Murray Bridge under 60kg two starts back in very impressive style and backed that up when rising a long way in grade and 2nd same track in a BM 64 this time. On a gradient this is slightly easier.
