Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, looks at today’s meetings and singles out his top three horse racing tips from Belmont &  Naracoorte.  Good luck, punters!

I do think this might be the omen tip of the day. KAMALA KHAN looks one of the main hopes in this. She’s had four starts to date and been unplaced in all of them. BUT….they have been in stronger races and last start she got home toward the end for 6th. Is 3rd up here and on a day when Joe Biden announces his running mate for the US presidency, Kamala Harris, this appeals to my sense of the world order. MELHOOPEN can run 2nd.

Tip: KAMALA KHAN

It’s not every day you see a 6YO having just its 4th race start but we do here. SANDHILL REBEL has placed twice from three starts to date, and on debut ran 3rd in this grade, at this track. Seems to have improved too. Last start, for instance, at Bordertown, he sat just off the pace over 1200m and was strong through the line winding up 3rd. Fitter now, and has a nice draw. Should be in the fray along with the quinella bet, CASINO SEVENTEEN.

Tip: SANDHILL REBEL

I did like the way EMPIRE REIGN just ranged up then raced away to win last start. It looked very professional and at just his 2nd race start too. He won by over 3 lengths on the line and surely has improved a fair bit since then. This is obviously a step up in class but off the inside draw, and with the leading rider in the saddle, he should park up in 3rd or 4th on the fence then muscle out and prove tough down the running.

>Tip: EMPIRE REIGN
