Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, looks at today’s race meetings and singles out his top three horse racing tips from and   Tamworth   – he is confident. Good luck, punters!

A good sized field of 14 to do battle here but after you’ve done the form there really is only three chances. The rest will be helping us get a price. Two of the chances, the pair I will quinella up are HURN COURT and DISCREET STAR. With the main bet being on Hurn Court because he will just get the perfect trail, the run of the race, and he is in dazzling form having having placed four of his past six runs at this level and significantly, his last two in a row. He is also trained here which, as you know, is a major guide to me as I know home track advantage helps horses.

Interesting race. I know that CHOCOLATIER is, on previous form, the best performed runner in the field and as such I also know that turns horses on when they are lowered in grade. Yes, he isn’t in great form at present and he has a big weight, but his class over these combined with his great draw should mitigate all that. SHAMUSU SHO is well weighted following the 2kg claim.  Definite quinella bet for mine.

Oh, I do think today is the day we see KINSHIP salute. Formerly trained in the city where he struggled to keep up, he is now with Rod Northam at Scone and he is on the improve. This will be his 4th start for his new boss and at his past three, in order to get fit, he has been ridden out of the gates to lead and he has stuck on well enough, placing 4th at his past two starts. Today, he drops 3kg, has the inside gate so probably heads toward the front again, only this time he can do it without having to use up a lot of early race juice. Should be very fit and now looks somewhat hard to run past.
