Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, looks at today’s meetings and singles out his top three horse racing tips from Gosford & Ballarat. Good luck, punters!

I believe if you can secure $1.85 or better you should just go bang and unleash on CAMERLENGO in this. He should jump, charge straight to the front and run away from all of these. He’s trained by Gai and Adrian, was an impressive 2nd on debut, his only start, and he is by More Than Ready. They all love the sting out of the ground and it will be soft here. Lots of unraced ones here so throw in OSCAR ZLU for 2nd. he trialled well.

This does look a lovely race for the mare REGAL RIFFLE. She is 3rd up here and does possess a touch of class. Ran a bottler first up when just behind the placegetters in town at BM 70 level. Then sent to the front, here and wilted late when 6th. If not for that 2nd up syndrome poor run, she’d be a $1.40 chance today. Because that run’s on her CV she will be about $3.60. Great value for a city class galloper coming back in grade. THE SIDEKICK should run a good race also.  They are my quinella.

Gosford R8 – BM64 1600m

16:25 (Local Time)

I like this race. Lots of chances makes it a good betting race. I also think the Clare Cunningham trained 3YO filly LADYLOVESTOGAMBLE might be a Saturday grade horse. She is 2nd up here after a very impressive 4th at BM 70 level when resuming. The race was 1300m, which was too short yet she showed her talent late. Better placed here this trip and grade and is now 2nd meaning she is fitter. The Godolphin filly DELICATELY is in sparkling form and should be in the money also.
