Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, looks at today’s race meetings and singles out his top three horse racing tips from Albury and  Quirindi. Good luck, punters!

Interesting encounter. Very as far as I’m concerned. We have two horses here both heavily backed overnight in REDOLLIX, who on paper looks the winner, and last start beaten odds on fav, BETHPAGE. And we also have a first starter, a tiny filly called THETIS with the leading bush rider on top. Now, ask yourself this. Why would the leading bush rider, Blaike McDougall ride her – a first starter, who is small, and drawn the extreme outside gate and who was beaten out of a place in a trial? I’m guessing it’s because she has talent. I’ll box the 3 of them up.

Good race. I think with the scratching of EASIER this may be a leaders race. So I’m all over ANAZARLI in this one. He is a 4YO racing for just the 3rd time and this is his first look at this trip. But he is a natural speedster and should just go hard to find the front early. If they back off the mid-race tempo, which they should, then he can lob along. Natural fitness has tightened him up so he can kick off the bend and this track will suit that style of racing.

I liked mapping this race. I think OWHATA CRUMPET and BAIYKA will drive toward the lead and make sure there will be a very solid tempo which should suit DREAM SONG. She has drawn perfectly to punch up into about 3rd or 4th behind them. Now, here’s the thing. Both the pace-setters are talented but are vulnerable over this trip some assuming they will cancel each other out, leaving them both leg weary with 200m to go. At that moment, Dream Song will pounce, claim them and go on to record a solid win. Elementary dear Watson!
