Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, looks at today’s race meetings and singles out his top three horse racing tips from Wellington and Taree this afternoon.

There is one thing about Neil Godlbolt who trains his large team out of Port Macquarie, and that is – he gets them to the races. And classic case in point is CONDOVER HALL. He raced a few days ago when 3rd in this grade, an unlucky third too when caught up behind runners. A week or so prior to that he was runner-up at this same level. He is a a gun trier, just keeps hitting the line and he is super, super fit and ready for this. Lots of money has come in for HOLD ALL TICKETS but the wet track will suit Condover Hall more so I’m tipping an $8 upset. Quinella them.

Tip: CONDOVER HALL

Lots to like about the unbeaten MIANDELLE who may very well be thrown in here as she goes through her grades and learns the craft. But, she’s up against a tough as old boots, hardened battle wary and consistent campaigner in this called OCEAN HERO. He has the fence and he is in great form hitting the line hard in recent starts to place at this level over 1400m. The extra trip here is in his favour while Miandelle, an impressive winner last start on debut is in a harder race, a longer race and has more weight than last start. She must be vulnerable.  So there is a bit of depth to his form of late. Quinella them.

Tip: OCEAN HERO

Gee, you don’;t see this very often. In fact rarely. As scarce as hen’s teeth. What? well, two things. Firstly a riding 11yo mare racing they tend to be well retired and are mothers by this age and secondly, that old mare is the one I’m backing in this! Her name is ENIGAMI and after a 4kg claim she just looks, on recent form, perfectly placed. Plus, she’s drawn close to the rails and should be in 3rd spot until flattening out for the run home.
