Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, looks at today’s meetings and singles out his top three horse racing tips from Kyneton & Coffs Harbour. Good luck, punters!

I think I’ve found one here. I’m on SHOWS PRIDE for a few reasons. Firstly, he is 3rd up and coming off a pair of career-best runs. Was placed this grade when resuming then last start was deep throughout after drawing gate 12, yet still made ground over 1106m to grab 5th. Is on his home track here, over a trip that really suits. And he should get a dream run just behind the speed. Should be peaking fitness-wise too. Great bet.

I’m going out on a bit of a limb here with TYCOON BEC. No trials but a few things make her fascinating. Firstly, she is a well-bred 4YO mare on debut. She must have shown a fair bit to stay in work that long. Next, she has the rails draw and thirdly she has been backed overnight. Not sensationally, but enough to suggest someone thinks she will run a race. MACHINATE, on paper, reads as hard to beat so I’ll quinella this pair.

This should be a good race. These bush Cups are always very competitive and this will be also. CHAMISAL is in great form and by that yardstick, must be in your numbers but I sense this horse PLEASED is ready to do just that. He ran a terrific 3rd in this grade when resuming last start so strips fitter now. Has the perfect draw to help him be on the fence just behind the pace, conserving energy etc. Is tough and honest. This is pet trip too.
