Kembla R3 – 2YO Mdn Plate 1000m
FINALLY, a good track today. No excuses. GIRL MANIA has had 4 starts. Two unplaced then spelled. But her two runs since that spell have both been excellent. Both have been at this track and on both occasions she settled back and charged late. In exactly the same conditions as this race she was beaten a nose last start. Has drawn perfectly here, probably sits a pair closer and is fitter. Rates highly. Money has come for the long shot AIR COMMAND so he is the quinella bet.
Tip: GIRL MANIA @ $2.60
Kembla R5 – BM68 Hcp 1300m
What a good race. On form and facts surrounding that form, the top weight here A MAGIC ZARIZ looks the one to beat. The old boy is racing in what seems like career best form. He can carry weight and his past two starts have been very solid runs, beaten narrowly into 2nd on both occasions. He just failed to nab Mother’s Mercy at Newcastle with 4kg more and that mare ran a great race in town in higher grade yesterday. He has won 13 times and been placed 14 times so knows his way around a racetrack. Only start here he was placed.
Kembla R6 – Mdn Hcp 1300m
I am a fan of horses in form. So I am all over KENNEDY CHOICE in this. this bloke tries so hard and has his foot on the till. His 4 runs this time up have all been great. He gets home hard and has run a placing in this grade in all of them. Last start in town, he chased home the leader who was gifted the race when he bobby for 2nd. I don’t see this race being harder in fact is probably 2 lengths easier.
