Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, looks at today’s meetings and singles out his top three horse racing tips from Moe & Hawkesbury. Good luck, punters!

WHATSIN is a mare who looks a likely improver and she was in form last campaign. Resumes here after a pair of 2nds in this grade earlier this year and a slashing recent trial win. Kris Lees trains her and he has booked Nash Rawiller to ride. That trial win, and the Nash booking suggest to me this might be a handy mare. So keep very safe. Maybe quinella with the well-weighted CHEVAL CAT.

A recent change of stable and a debut in town where he was supported suggest to me we have a live one here in NOBLE PRIVILEGE. Team Hawkes now mentor the son of Lonhro and he was 5th at his first run on a track that was very heavy at Randwick on Melbourne Cup day. It was a tough ask at his first attempt at a racing career. This appears to be easier. That experience will help too and the fact the track is faster will make him a different proposition completely.  Big show.

This could be a good race. The money is coming in for impressive all-the-way last start winner ANIRISHMAN and he might just be pretty talented at this level. But I have a rather healthy respect for REDWOOD RISING, who I think, now that he’s 2nd up in a race and trip that should suit, might be the one to beat. He has shown staying ability and did win this journey when last in work. Drawn next to Anirishman, who should lead. He will settle about 5th then, with luck down the running will collar him late. Quinella the pair.
