Form student, RIC CHAPMAN, previews Wednesday’s Warwick Farm meeting, with horse racing tips and analysis for all seven races on the card. Good luck, punters!

Rail Position: True, entire circuit
Track Condition: Good 4

Looks a race in two. BONDI BOY for Richard Freedman and FULL RECOGNITION for Mark Newnham. Both placed in similar races to this at their last starts. Full Recognition probably just gets the nod because the other bloke is resuming.

Tip: FULL RECOGNITION

Good 2YO. CARDIFF is extremely fast and should lead but he may have company as the strangely named COCK MATCH is very, very fast too and he’s drawn inside him. They may cut at each other setting it up for those trailing like ENFORCEMENT and ESCONDIDO, both of whom have shown in recent trials that they can hit the line hard from off the pace. Fascinating race. Watch betting.

Tip: ESCONDIDO

Given their draws this might set up perfectly for the royally bred EVENING SLIPPERS. She resumes here following a placing in town where she loomed to win then ran out of puff. A rest and 2 trials should have her ready to ping from this inside gate. She is the full-sister to the Gr 1 winner Sweet Idea. GAELIC PUZZLE was very fast out of the gates and won like a precocious juvenile in her trial at Newcastle recently. Will be up on pace all the way while BOLLYWOOD is yet to win a race from 4 starts but has shown enough to warrant a strong chance in this. The gate is a big help.

Tip: EVENING SLIPPERS

ACHONDRITE ran a cracking race on debut a fortnight ago. It was in town, this grade and she led and was run down on the line by Mizzy, who next run was beaten half a length at Gr 1 level. Looks the winner. FASIKA has trialled well enough and expectations are high. Watch betting. GOT YOUR SIX has started twice and has been strong both times running 2nd and deserves a breakthrough.

Tip: ACHONDRITE

Fascinating race. LADY ELIZABETH is your model of consistency and seems to be getting better with racing. The 1.5kg claim helps and looks well placed on last start win. DEBATE is lightly raced having just had 2 runs – a maiden win then a great 5th in a stronger race when resuming. Will appreciate this. ALLITERATE is always a show at BM 70 level and is down in the weights so rates highly.

Tip: DEBATE

This could be the day for GREAT JOB. He’s very fast early and he has led both starts this grade since resuming and has been run down late. Is third up now and could very easily control this from the front. BULL MARKET is so reliable this grade and he’s perfectly drawn here. Has won 2 of past 3 all this company. SCRATCHES was thrashed when resuming but is better than that and is much fitter. Expect to be in the money.

Tip: GREAT JOB

Very even bunch but saying that, TORPENHOW was ultra impressive winning first up last start. He will be rearward, probably even last early, but he is big, strong and has such a powerful burst late. Big show. TONSOR is getting stronger and better with racing. Did lead all way here in a BM 74 last start and this is his home track. Drawn to lead again. EVER SO NATURAL gets a 3kg weight allowance which helps him a great deal. Can be in the frame.

Tip: TORPENHOW

Much to like about the Team Hawkes 3YO QUADRIGA here. He needed the run when on pace and wilting final 200m in Melbourne at stakes level last run. Should be so much fitter now and is drawn to lead all the way here. Saying that Gai and Adrian’s blueblood REGAL STAGE, who has drawn deep, will have little option other than to press forward and look for the front. And he’s quite talented too so will be there fighting for the lead all the way. That might hurt both horses hopes leaving GRIMOIRE with the last shot. He was 2nd this grade last start but should have won.
