Form analyst, JUSTIN DEVINE, previews Wednesday’s meeting at Sha Tin, with horse racing tips and analysis for all 11 races on the card. Good luck, punters!

Track Condition: Turf – Good

Rail Position: True, entire circuit

Sha Tin R1 – Griffin 1200m

14:30 (AEST)

CHANCHENG PRINCE broke through last start after a string of placings and is clearly the one to beat. ENCHANTING START hasn’t been seen since finishing third on debut and has the services of leading jockey Zac Purton. HONGKONG HARMONY chased home solidly for second last time and can improve with that experience under his belt.

Tip: CHANCHENG PRINCE

Sha Tin R2 – Class 4 1200m

15:00 (AEST)

First starter MY SUGAR has trialled well and the market suggests he is ready to fire. SUPER MISSION wasn’t far away two runs back and must be respected, while ex-UK galloper AMAZING KNIGHT won’t get a better chance to run well in a race that lacks depth.

 Tip: MY SUGAR

Sha Tin R3 – Class 5 2200m

15:30 (AEST)

SKY GEM was a winner over the 2200m here two runs back and with a 4.5kg claim he looks set to fight out the finish IF Jerry Chau can overcome the poor gate. KING PRINT has been building towards a win and Joao Moreira jumps aboard for the first time in what is a good lead for punters. YOUNG GLORY was poor last time, but his form previous had been good and with 53.5kg for Karis Teetan he can improve.

Tip: SKY GEM

Sha Tin R4 – Class 4 1000m

16:00 (AEST)

JOYFUL FORTUNE has trialled well and the early money suggests a bold debut run. Of the raced brigade, FABOLOUS EIGHT has been a model of consistency who will acquit himself well and DUBLIN STAR has drawn to fight out the finish.

Tip: JOYFUL FORTUNE

Sha Tin R5 – Class 4 1200m

16:30 (AEST)

STRIKING MR C has two wins from his last three runs over the track and distance and from gate 2 he will get all the favours in the run. The 4.5kg claim also helps! SUPER ALLIANCES was an impressive winner last time and can go on with the job, while FORTUNE HAPPINESS has the ability to improve.

Tip: STRIKING MR C

Sha Tin R6 – Class 3 1200m

17:00 (AEST)

SKY SHOW is racing well and with 52kgs and the Magic Man to ride he looks well placed. CALIFORNIA ARGENT went down narrowly two runs back before putting in a shocker last start. He looks the danger. GOOD FOR YOU has been a model of consistency of late and is one to include.

Tip: SKY SHOW

Sha Tin R7 – Class 4 1400m

17:35 (AEST)

This is a tough race. POWER KING was placed at his only other first-up run and can show out again today. HANG’S DECISION is a last start winner but will need to overcome a horror gate. PERFECT PAIR has done little in recent times, but from the rails draw and with Zac Purton to steer he is sure to be in the market.

Tip: POWER KING

Sha Tin R8 – Class 3 1200m

18:05 (AEST)

The market suggests a match race between CALIFORNIA CONCORD and SUNNY BOY. CALIFORNIA CONCORD looks to have adjusted to Hong Kong racing well with a win and two minors from his three runs. He looks to be the one. SUNNY BOY is a track and distance winner with the services of Hong Kong’s leading rider Zac Purton. He can capitalise if the favourite is off his game. LE TERROIR hasn’t been far away from the placings recently and can fill the minor end of the prize.

Tip: CALIFORNIA CONCORD

Sha Tin R9 – Class 4 1600m

18:35 (AEST)

CHEVALIER PRINCE recorded his maiden victory last start and can go on with the job and work through the grades. He is the best bet on the card. TELECOM ROCKET was second at the track and distance last time and must be respected. HUMBLE STEED was a class 5 winner three runs back and can sneak a place at a bolters price.

Tip: CHEVALIER PRINCE

Sha Tin R10 – Class 3 1400m

19:10 (AEST)

RELENTLESS ME has an impressive career winning strike rate of 20%  and is a four-time winner at the track and distance. He always gives a good account of himself and is the best each-way bet on the card. ELIGERE will get plenty of market support with the magic man riding for the first time and a lightweight. UNIQUE TREASURE is another to include in exotics with luck in running.

 Tip: WINNING DREAMER

Sha Tin R11 – Class 2 1200m

19:45 (AEST)

LUCKY EXPRESS was well backed on Hong Kong debut and wasn’t disgraced finishing third. Expect him to improve with that run under his belt. MR CROISSANT was first up winner last start and has won both of his second-up runs to date. He ticks plenty of boxes. ALL IN MIND continues to show plenty of fight and is one to include in exotics.

Tip: ADONIS
