Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN previews Saturday’s Randwick , with horse racing tips and analysis for all 9 races on the card. Good luck, punters!

Track Condition: Good 4

Rail Position: Out 3m, entire circuit

Terrific field MAMARAGAN looked a lot sharper in his first trial back but wasn’t impressive in his most recent. Is a Golden Slipper placegetter so you know he has great talent. Watching betting moves.

DOUBTLAND was a star last campaign. He’s very fast and is suited here on his best form. Trials have been nice.

ANDERMATT is rising in class but his first up win was awesome. Showed he may well be up to stakes grade. If so, looms large here.

Could PROFITEER have been any more impressive winning last start? Led from an outside gate and just accelerated away at will as they turned. Is he up to the very best when pressured? We will find out here because one of the very best, if not the best colt in the land, STAY INSIDE is here to run against.

This bloke is amazingly gifted too, and can just run with the pack and explode when he wants to. Which he did last start. Is going to make a great race of it chasing down Profiteer.

REMARQUE is exceptionally good too and unbeaten. He is resuming here and his recent trial was great. Hits the line hard.

SLIDERS was strong when last in work showing great speed and fight. Resumes here and should make presence felt as those two starts were first rate.

SWIFT WITNESS won on the Gold Coast like a superstar but failed when drawing wide in the big Gold Coast Magic Millions Classic. Spelled after that and has trialled well. Is on home track here.

VIANELLO is all class and is very fit. Hits the line hard. Chased home the star Stay inside last start and looks well placed in this.

SACRAMENTO has simply been the best placed horse in the land in recent weeks and as result has led all the way to win four of his past five starts. Loves this journey, loves this track and has been weighted to lead all the way again.

THE LORD MAYOR is third up here and has proven he is capable in this grade. Meets Sacramento 2kg better for losing to him by 2 lengths last start when 2nd up. That fitness improvement may make the difference.

MOUNT POPA is talented. Loomed when resuming to win first up in slightly easier race but peaked on run late to finish 2nd. Won brilliantly 2nd up last campaign.

If NATURE STRIP is back to his best and it did appear that way when he resumed in Melbourne two weeks ago, he will brain these.

EDUARDO is extremely fast and tough and has trialled well. He can be a player

WRITTEN BEAUTY is the dark horse. She has won five straight against her own age group and has a light weight there. Should make her presence felt. Big danger.

POSITIVE PEACE is very classy on her day and probably rolls to the front this time. Is 2nd up. If unchallenged, although VULPINE too is fast and might try to soften her up, if not, then she will take beating.

FIESTA graduated to top flight company when last in work and her trial run the other day was pretty darn impressive.

EMANATE won like a horse headed toward Gr 1 victory last start. Just chimed in at the right time and dashed right away. Should do that again.

What a terrific race. How do you look past a five time winner from five races to date and one of them against most of these? AEGON, even if he hasn’t taken any improvement from last start looks a cut above them. If he has improved, this could be a massacre

North Pacific chased him home last start and has proven to be a very good horse in this type of race. Is third up into this and looks ready to rumble. Big danger.

PELTZER is the fly in the ointment for Aegon. His imposing five starts, five wins at this track means he has an affinity with it and that often proves invaluable. Can and has raced away from this grade here in the past and is 3rd up. Respect him.

THE ELANORA will be big odds but he is tough and he should be around the place getters at the end.

Tip: 1. AEGON, 2. Peltzer, 3. North Pacific, 4. The Elanora

BIVOUAC should be ready to let rip. Is 2nd up here after a handy 5th to Nature Strip in Melbourne when resuming. Has always shown tremendous improvement the further into his prep he goes and it must be said, this field isn’t as strong as last start. Can run right away iff at his peak

DAWN PASSAGE is extremely honest. And he’s tough. He resumes here but has first-up form and this is his home track.

SAVATIANO looms as the only threat to Bivouac and she is his stablemate. Won brilliantly when resuming last start in a similar race. Distance suits perfectly and is so, so close to an initial Gr 1 win after five times winning at Gr 2 level so far.

Tip: 1. BIVOUAC, 2. Savatiano, 3. Dawn Passage, 4. Dreamforce

The mile at Randwick is where NETTOYA feels right at home. Big ask here though up against a strong field, and she has top weight and she is resuming coming off poor form. But that affinity with this track and trip keeps her in my numbers.

SHE’S IDEEL ran a great race when resuming last start to grab 3rd and the run had a big red flag over it. Stormed home and in this grade too. She should strip fitter this time around.

POLLY GREY was strong through the line last start when resuming and is a lightweight chance here for sure.
