Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, previews Saturday’s Randwick meeting, with horse racing tips and analysis for all 10 races on the card. Good luck, punters!

Track Condition: Heavy 8

Rail Position: Ont 6m, entire circuit

HARBOURING has the perfect draw here. He resumed last start in this grade and loomed until his condition ran out late. Needed the outing. Wet track doesn’t look to bother him. Wears a tongue tie for first time in this. QUICK SPIN surprised with a great 3rd this grade at Highway level last start. Doesn’t win many but is capable. CAP’S BOY is the owner of 4 starts but has won 2 of them. Big rise in grade but is very promising.

Just another one of those boring, hard-to-work-out staying races. The Chris Waller pair of DARK PEARL and BIRTH OF VENUS are both solid, fit and in form stayers at this level. Both rate highly. The real rising star is SHE’S IDEEL. Looked awesome winning a 2000m BM 78 last start. Has the rails draw and looks perfectly placed.

An open race as always and the mud makes it interesting. GOD OF THUNDER has the rails draw. We will know how the track is playing by now. Maybe the inside will not be a good spot. But he is talented and gets a 3kg claim in this. CORUSCATE resumes here and is most consistent. Placed this grade before spell and has trialled nicely. BALLER was smart once then lost form. Has been gelded now and resumes here. Watch betting.

DESTINATION is unbeaten from just one start. It was at Kembla and this is harder but he really zipped home to beat them that day. Resumes here but won a trial and might be special. When last in work DAME GISELLE proved to be one of the best juveniles in the land. Resumes here but that class should still be there. If so, could win this comfortably. CENTIMENTAL is a maiden but has placed twice from two. Bad draw but will get back and run on.

What a lottery! Very even field. JUNGLE EDGE won brilliantly first up in Melbourne last start after looking beaten on the bend. Big weight here but he just loves the mud and is going to take beating again. CASCADIAN resumes here. Is very smart and trial was good. Sure to run on. ASHLOR ran a beauty in WFA last start to get 5th. So the weights scale appeals here in easier race. Unbeaten in the mud to date also.

If MONGOLIAN WOLF can get through the mud he looks well placed here. Ran home hard to grab 3rd in this grade last start and seems more at home with this extra 100m. Is 2nd up. WHITE BOOTS is honest and will be on pace all the way. Was a really strong 3rd this grade over 2000m last start. Big show. ATTORNEY is up in grade and resumes here. But looked pretty handy winning two straight before spell.

Look at this field. The wet track is an annoyance when you get depth like this. The Godolphin owned trio of Gr 1 Slipper winner KIAMICHI, Gr 1 Blue Diamond winner LYRE and the impressive FLIT who wears blinkers for the first time, could very easily fight this out. All resume and have trailed very well. But, boom filly LIBERTINI is also engaged and she is on her home track. Is awkwardly drawn but is also extremely good.

What a lovely field. Old HAPPY CLAPPER has a great record first up, an even better record at this track and goes very well this trip. Hasn’t done all that well on heavy tracks but his soft track form is outstanding. Always a threat. ALIZEE was an impressive 2nd behind a very smart young horse when resuming last start over 1200m. Ran home hard and recorded a very fast last 600m. Suited this trip although has never won on a heavy track. VERRY ELLEEGANT is all class. The trip may be a worry as it’s a bit short but her wet track form is about the best in the country. Will be flying home.

A tough race for punters on a really chopped up track. REELEM IN RUBY has drawn off the track and resumes here. She runs very well when fresh and her trial was excellent. Her form is outstanding for a race like this. Big show because of her honesty. And can go in the mud too. POHUTUKAWA is all class on her day but does find trouble in races…often. Can fly when right and goes very well in the mud. Sure to be running on. SEASONS is a classy mare, and very honest. Resumes here and loves this track.

VEGADAZE drops in grade here. Is very smart on his day. The outside draw may be helpful. Looks well placed. ROHERYN stormed home to win when resuming last start looking outstanding. It was a 1200m BM88….so extra 100m looks ideal. The mare SAVACOOL resumes here. is a stayer of note and should sprint well while fresh.
