Palmerbet Racing Team takes a look at Friday’s Moonee Valley night meeting, with horse racing tips & analysis for all eight races on the card. Good luck, punters!

Rail Position: Out 5m, entire circuit
Track Condition: Good 4

PEPPINO is 3rd up this prep and ready to rumble. Just behind placegetters those runs in slightly better grade. PRINCE SAVA is racing well placing twice this campaign from 2 starts and is drawn perfectly. This is a little harder but rates well while TOWER ROAD has put the writing on the wall past couple and can only be improving.

BLUE TYCOON is racing in career best form. Ran on strongly when 2nd to his rival here GREYWORM this grade last start. Meets that horse 4.5kg better. Sure to be in this. GREYWORM might be very handy though. He did win that race by over 2 lengths while fresh so must be fitter now. Looms large. HOLY COMMAND was a star last campaign this grade. Resumes here. Watch market.

NO TIES is from Sth Australia and has a lot of talent. Not a great deal of racing room final 250m last start when close 4th in a better race here. Big chance. YULONG WAIN jumped and dashed away last start at Geelong in BM 64. He won by 2 lens and is fitter now. Has speed. OLLIVANDER has talent and is slowly getting back to his best. Is 3rd up and should be rushing home. Chance.

GWENNETH is or was the best horse in race but form is patchy this time up. Was placed this grade 2 runs back. NODOUBTABOUTIT has the rails draw and is racing well enough this company to rate a big show. Been up a while but holding form. HUMMA HUMMA, by contrast, resumes here. Was a star this company last campaign and looks the one to beat.

These sprint races are so hard to work out. The 2kg weight relief and good draw should help Sth Aussie visitor GOLDEN LUSTRE who has good speed. MISTER MOGUL showed great pace to win race before spell and was excellent in an easier race winning first up. Drawn very well. THE MAYOR is 2nd up and racing well enough to place. Chance.

CHARLEVOIX is a strong stayer when right and is 3rd up here. Drawn well so should be in top 5 all the way. CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE can hit the line hard and loomed to win same race last start before plodding final stages. Sitter now so goes close. BRINGIT has a new trainer and that tends to turn runners on. Is fit and ready.

CRIMSON TEARS is bred to stay and has shown steady talent past few runs. In fact, her last start 2nd in Adelaide this trip and grade was a good performance as she made ground from the back. Looks hardest to beat. LOPE DE FIELD has steadily won through the grades and looks pretty smart. Won 3 of past 4. Big show. INDRABEEL hasn’t won for a while but is fit and racing with late gusto. Can hit the wire.

This race is a lottery. GASWORX is racing in fine fettle. Won 2 and placed 3 times from past 5 starts this grade. Big show. TOUR DOWN UNDER might be an emerging talent this grade. Races on speed on after a great win at Mornington stepped up to Saturday grade at Caulfield and was a tremendous 5th, beaten less than 2 lens. This is easier. PLAY ME NOW has speed and won only start being on pace. Bad draw means he has to go forward again here. Good luck.
