Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, takes a looks at Tuesday’s Randwick Kensington meeting, with horse racing tips and analysis for all nine races on the card. Good luck, punters!

Track Condition: Soft 5

Rail Position: True, entire circuit

SPACEBOY is gifted and is always there at the end, but his honesty is in question. He’s had 6 starts to date and been well-backed each time but is yet to win. Probably leads these and on form will take catching but I have a query about his integrity late in the race. ENDLESS RIVER has been trialling well and is in the powerhouse stable. Is on debut here. His stablemate STARLA gets home hard and has been 2nd on both race starts this time up in this grade. Respect that.

This looks a nice race. Only a small field but they all look talented. Probably will be 4 lengths top to end at the finish. NAVY CROSS should lead and has won past 2 starts. Is on home track so rates very highly. COSTAS might well develop into a very handy stayer. He’s 3rd up here and ready to go bang while his stablemate LEWIS just keeps improving every run and looks a stayer in the making.

An even bunch here. ATHERTON looked strong late on debut when 4th and you’d suspect he’d strip fitter and better this time around. If DIRTY WORKS runs, he can lead all the way. Has a lot of talent but is also engaged at Flemington. HULK, well what can we say? He’s been backed and beaten this grade on numerous occasions now, always getting you in by placing.  Should hit the line hard. L’COSMO was strong last campaign this grade placing many times and resumes here.

GLENALL has been out of the winners’ circle for some time but that’s because he’s been sent around in races that are simply too strong for him. This one isn’t and he looks the winner. AGENT PIPPA goes up a little in class here but is absolutely flying of late and last start win was impressive. AYLMERTON has also been out of sorts for a couple of years but may place here at good odds.

The traditional, ‘show-some-support’ race for the Melbourne Cup. This big two-mile test should suit the mare MISS MOANA and EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN best. They have shown they can run all day and should be the ones most vibrant at the end. The leader probably is BREAKDANCE and while he is very fit and in terrific form, I just think the other pair will run him down.

Strong field for this level. COYS has the big weight but is 2nd up and is, on his day, probably the best horse here. From this great gate can kick up and be in top 3 all the way. STATUESQUELY is a bold front-running type who is 2nd up on home track. Should sprint hard early to lead and if left alone can go all the way. JETSKI runs on. Won a pair of restricted class races then plugged on fairly this grade when 4th. Can place.  Chance.

D’ORO RAN looks to get a few favours here. Gate means she can be in the right spot with cover and is 3rd up here. Great run when 4th in a similar race last start. Should be fitter. CARDINET has won past 2 starts in the bush but won them very comfortably. Is up to this grade. LOVED ONE looks nicely placed if she is ready. Is 2nd up here after good 6th in a very similar race when resuming last start. Did win 2nd up last campaign.

Strong field. Just how good is JAZZLAND? He’s a powerhouse stayer in the making but you wouldn’t have known by the way he sprinted to the front when resuming last start over 1350m and raced away, ears pricked to win easily. This is a little harder but the trip should suit more. May destroy them. On his day GUISE is talented enough for this grade but dropped out final stages when resuming last start in a similar race. Should be fitter. ORCEIN is 3rd up and has finishing power. Chance.

MANSA MUSA is resuming here. Has talent and trials have been impressive. PLENTY resumes here too and has had, plenty of chances. Always seems to run on and place in similar races and can do again. Unbeaten filly WANDABAA is rising in grade but all 3 wins to date have been dominant. Is fast and strong. Should run boldly.
