Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, looks at every runner in Saturday’s Group 1 Randwick TJ Smith Stakes with horse racing tips for the first four. Read on to see how he maps and assesses the race. Good luck, punters!

1. BIVOUAC (2) 365x321x54

T: James Cummings /J: Hugh Bowman (58.5kg)

Beware the fallen idol. Last campaign he was the supreme sprinter in the land and now, after two unplaced runs all have forgotten him. But the track will be damp which he just loves. The 1200m is his favourite journey. He has trounced these main rivals in the past and he is 3rd up. He has drawn to receive the perfect run behind what will be a genuine pace. Looks exceptionally hard to beat.

2. NATURE STRIP (5) 11x2472x12

T: Chris Waller / J: James McDonald (58.5kg)

Great sprinter. Looked awesome winning Gr 1 Lightning first up with September Run and Bivouac behind him, then strode to the front at the top of the lane only to be run down late by the brilliant Eduardo  last start. Won this race in a canter last year. Goes brilliantly at this trip this track. Big show.

3. EDUARDO (8) 7x11204x11

T: Joe Pride / J: Brenton Avdulla (58.5kg)

Class galloper, in fact super galloper who disposed of Nature Strip two runs back then totally destroyed his rivals in the Gr 1 Galaxy. Ran a track record when beating Nature Strip two runs back. Now, in an interview his trainer Joe Pride said that he has improved since last start. Wow.

4. ZOUTORI (10) 400x114x71

T: Matty Ellerton & Simon Zahra / J: Luke Currie (58.5kg)

Smart galloper who shocked everyone at $21 last start to claim the coveted Gr 1 Newmarket Hcp at Flemington. Has always been a top liner in the making and now looks to assume his role.

5. MASKED CRUSADER (7) 11x238x131

T: Team Hawkes/ J: Kerrin McEvoy (58.5kg)

Respect this bloke a great deal. Ran fast time to win the recent Gr 1 William Reid Stakes this trip at Moonee Valley. Now, his last 600m was astonishing. If he is close enough and can produce that turn of foot, he will swamp even the best of these.

6. DIRTY WORK (9) 11x3413x54

T: Team Hawkes / J: Damian Lane (58.5kg)

Interesting galloper. Very smart at finishing his races off. Is 3rd up here after a pair of eye-catching Gr 1 runs, latest when last for home and beaten into 4th in the recent Gr 1 Galaxy over 1100m. Loves this trip.

7. ORDER OF COMMAND (6) 53x3722x32

T: Danny O’Brien / J: Damien Oliver (58.5kg)

Good galloper from Melbourne who has raced twice in Sydney in recent weeks placing both times, latest when 2nd to Eduardo. Meets him 6.5kg worse off for being beaten 3.5 lengths by him. Not keen.

8. ELEVEN ELEVEN (3) x573x6111x

T: Greg Hickman / J: Keagan Latham (58.5kg)

Has a poor first-up record and he resumes here in the silk drawer department. Saying that, went for his spell winning three in a row and looked awesome beating Bivouac recently in a trial.

9. LIBERTINI (1) 3x49x183x3

T: Anthony Cummings / J: Tommy Berry (58.5kg)

Is ready to run a big race after a terrific run to grab 3rd at Gr 1 level behind Masked Crusader last start. Is trained here and has won 4 races at this track. Against her is the fact the last 4 times she has raced Bivouac…he has beaten her home.

10. HAUT BRION HER (4) 221x1752x5

T: Chris Waller / J: Jamie Kah (56.5kg)

Good strong mare who hit the line well sight challenging when 5th to Eduardo in the 1100m Gr 1 Galaxy. Is better suited here and has a nice second up record but this does look too tough.

11. SEPTEMBER RUN (11) 1x5111x204

T: Chris Waller /J: Craig Williams (54.5kg)

Good strong hard-finishing filly who is a Gr 1 winner this trip but most punters rate her higher than her ability actually is. Looks safely held.

Tip: 1. BIVOUAC,  2. Eduardo, 3. Nature Strip, 4. Masked Crusader
