What a courageous galloper. Just exhibits all the hallmarks of a superstar in the making. Can sit off pace and just accelerate when jock goes for her. Has been slowly carving out a very impressive resume and last start when resuming in the Gr 2 over 1200m, which is a bit short for her, she did all the above and won brilliantly. If she’s gone on with it, she beats these up.

Is a quality, Gr 1 winning filly. And her first-up run where she charged late and was beaten only by Flit at Gr 2 level was a superb effort. She races like this trip will suit and should get pretty much the run of the race behind the speed. Big player.
T: James Cummings / J: Rachel King (56kg)
This is the ruling Gr 1 Golden Slipper winner and her 3rd, when leading and folding up only last 100m to wind up 3rd behind Flit over 1200m while fresh, was an outstanding trial for this. She will probably get right out in the market with everyone thinking she can’t run this journey. But the funny thing about all that theory is this. If she takes the front easily early, and no-one challenges her, the tempo will drop and she will skip clear over the rise. Have in your numbers.
T: Chris Waller /J: James McDonald (56kg)
Outstanding galloper this trip on her day. And may well be the best of her age in the land. Has won 4 of her 5 starts and that includes a runaway Gr 1 winner beating Probabeel by over 3 lengths. Only loss was when resuming from a spell and she was 2nd that day. Resumes here but has had 2 soft trials. Has won in the wet and sure to be dashing late.
T: Jamie Richards / J: Opie Bosson (56kg)
This is one of the best horses in New Zealand. Came here last spring and chased home Funstar twice at Gr 2 over 1400m and then Gr 1 level at a mile. Went back home, spelled and has thrashed her rivals in 2 starts since, running very fast time to win over a mile last start. Up in grade but is obviously extremely good.
T: Team Snowden / J: Brenton Avdulla (56kg)
Very good filly on her day and is Gr 1 placed. But was well beaten by a few of these when resuming last start. Does get her blinkers back on here after not wearing them last start. Likely needs it further.
T: Ciaron Maher & David Eustace / J: Jye McNeil (56kg)
Is outstanding. Has not lost a race yet and has raced 4 times. Last start was a Victorian stakes win. This is by far the best field she has faced and is not helped by the awful gate. But she has the ability to sit on or just off the pace. Wears blinkers for the first time. Will be interesting to see how she goes as she is a firecracker.
T: Tony McEvoy / J: Glen Boss (56kg)
Very good filly who might upset the plans of Kiamichi simply because she is a front-runner too. Tough ask here first up in an exceptionally strong Gr 1 race but has won at stakes level this journey.
T: Brad Widdup / J: Christian Reith (56kg)
This filly has class and last campaign was showing definite stakes quality athletics. But was safely held in the Gr 2 won by Flit from Lyre last start. Not keen.
T: Chris Waller / J: Jason Collett (56kg)
This is a classy filly who is probably going to be headed towards the Oaks. Will get back and probably be doing best work late but a few of these are a lot faster.
T: Gerald Ryan / J: Tim Clark (56kg)
This is a smart filly but at this level, maybe not. She has won 3 of her 4 starts but they have been in restricted, weaker grade. Plus, she is resuming here. Not keen.
T: John Sargent / J: Ben Melham (56kg)
More than handy filly who resumed and was doing her best work late when 5th to Flit last start. Is on home track and could sneak a place at huge odds.
T: Gerald Ryan / J: Josh Parr (56kg)
An improving filly who showed class last time in. Did run a Gr 3 placing before spelling. First up here in a sensational field might be too much at this stage.
T: John Sargent / J: Andrew Adkins (56kg)
Resumes here. Probably sits back last and stays there all race.
