T: James Cummings / J: Hugh Bowman (59kg)
Three terrific runs this time up have him cherry-ripe for this. And he loves it wet. Unlucky climbing all over his rivals when eye-catching 5th in the recent Gr 1 Australian Cup over this trip. Looks very hard to beat.
T: William Haggis / J: Tom Marquand (59kg)
Superstar. This is one of the best middle-distance stayers on the planet. Resumes here but has impeccable fresh stats. Runner-up at Gr 1 level Royal Ascot last start and last year gave the wonder mare Magic Wand weight and a thrashing on soft ground. Lives for wet tracks. Respect a great deal.
T: Chris Waller / J: Craig Williams (59kg)
Quality Irish stayer now with Chris Waller. Will find this very hard first-up but has Gr 1 placed so can run.
T: Chris Waller / J: James McDonald (57kg)
Is back better than ever and loves this journey. Ran home in a stunning display of speed over a mile last start when 2nd at Gr 1 level. Loves the mud and rates highly.
T: Chris Waller / J: Opie Bosson (57kg)
Good mare. Gets home hard but is at best a legitimate Gr 2 level racehorse so this will test.
T: Wendy Roche / J: Glen Boss (57kg)
Good mare capable of surprising at huge odds. Can really muster late and not afraid of the wet. Won like a star in a weaker race last start over a mile.
T: Chris Waller / J: Kerrin McEvoy (57kg)
Good mare. Has won 4 races, 3 of them on soft tracks so suited that way. Made good ground to run 2nd last start behind the smart Shared Ambition but this is another grade up on that.
