Form student, RIC CHAPMAN, previews Saturday’s Eagle Farm meeting, with horse racing tips and analysis for all nine races on the card including three Group 1 races. Good luck, punters!

Rail Position: Out 2m, entire circuit
Track Condition: Good 4

The very smart and in-form PLAGUE STONE is perfectly placed to continue on his winning ways here. He’s stormed home to win 2 of 3 starts, failing only at the hands of boom galloper, the unbeaten Zoustyle. Should knock this over. CYBER ATTACK is from NZ and comes here with solid enough form. Should show up. SIGNORE FOX was in a really tough race last start and ran 7th but should just about have won it. No surprise to see him charge late here.

Tip: PLAGUE STONE

The barriers should play roles here. PROMPT RESPONSE has the big weight but is the nominal pace if they choose to use her up. She tends to race better that way. American mare CON TE PARTIRO who has stakes form in the US, opened her Aussie account with a game win this grade and should be fitter. Respect her. OUTBACK BARBIE is always a threat in any race and drops in grade here on her recent 7th placing at Gr 1 level. Big show.

Tip: OUTBACK BARBIE

SALSONIC ran a bottler this grade last start when hitting line hard for 4th. Suite to this. DUCA VALENTINOIS has run 5th, 3 x this campaign. Suited to thsi grade, trip and track. Big threat. MISTER SEA WOLF has drawn badly so probably drops back early. At his best, he can pounce on these. That makes him a big danger.

Tip: DUCA VALENTINOIS

You’ve got to feel for the connections of TACTICAL ADVANTAGE. He just missed making the Gr 1 Stradbroke field and really, should never have. He was a chance in that race. And here where looks the goods, he draws the car park. If he can find cover he’s right in this. STREETS OF AVALON uis engaged all over the place, here, Melbourne and hoping to get on in the Gr 1 Stradbroke. is a fine horse, well drawn and in form. NOBLE BOY is the horse on the rise. Just knows how to win and has a wicked finishing burst. Up in grade but deserves to be.

Tip: NOBLE BOY

You would have to think RINGERDINGDING is suited to this race. Goes well against his own age, is a bona fide Group horse and is ready to fire up. Will get back but be charging late. KOLDING is straight out of restricted grade but seems to be jumping every hurdle put in front of him. Sits back and runs on hard. Can run time so rates highly. POHUTUKAWA is a brilliant filly but past two starts have been poor. is suited here and will be running on. If she produces her best, she can win this.

Tip: POHUTUKAWA

ACCESSION is very honest. He gets back and has always indicated this trip would suit. Resumed from spell this grade over 1200m here and was backed off the map finishing 2nd and did the same thing next start. is ready to fire up.  CZARSON has been getting fitter with racing and should peak here. Perfect trip. He will lead and will take a lot of running down. Some will question him at this trip but he is very tough. PRINCE FAWAZ won brilliantly last start and is up to this grade and RELOADED might be another the Autumn Sun. Respect his talent. GARIBALDI has been working towards a win. Is 4th up here. Will drift to midfield but is now fit enough to run on brilliantly.

Tip: 1. PRINCE FAWAZ, 2. Reloaded, 3. Accession, 4. Czarson

MR QUICKIE has travelled a lot but he sure can hold his form and that form is outstanding. He’s had 7 wins from last 9 starts, placed the other two runs and is Gr 1 placed. Drawn well too. DECLARES WAR seems to be back to his best – his last start win in 3YO company in Melbourne under a big weight was impressive. Drawn to get the run of the race. NOBU is from Sydney and has found a strong vein of form. Looks a stayer of quality in the making. SCARLET DREAM is poised to win. She can really fly late and can stay all day. RE EDIT ran a terrific race last start when sooled to the lead in Open WFA race and was still there battling away at the end to grab 3rd. Strong chance.

Tip: 1. RE EDIT, 2. Scarlet Dream, 3. Nobu, 4. Mr Quickie

THE BOSTONIAN was impressive beating star sprinter Osborne Bulls at Gr 1 level then backed it up winning the Gr 1 Kingsford-Smith beating most of these. is the best horse but meets them all worse off at the weights. TREKKING has the wheels to test these. He can fly and run time in doing so. Was hitting line hard when close up 3rd to The Bostonian at Gr 1 level last start and meets him 3kg better. TYZONE is in grand form and really knows how to hit the line. Is a last start stakes winner running by a few of these and should take holding out. As will the filly PRETTY IN PINK. She has the gun draw, the light weight and the win last week was full of merit. Sure to be in this.

Tip: 1. PRETTY IN PINK, 2. Trekking, 3. Tyzone, 4. The Bostonian

SIXTIES GROOVE has his foot on the till. Has been hitting the line and placing in all the lead up races to this and this trip suits a lot. Is 4th up now and looms very large. GREY LION has won past 2 and is a good strong stayer. Will find himself in a safe spot and make a charge. Big danger while THE CANDY MAN has captured everyone’s imagination winning through the grades and posting 7 wins straight. Will drop to the take and make a long dash late. Great race. Big danger.

Tip: SIXTIES GROOVE
