Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, previews Wednesday’s Bendigo meeting with horse racing tips and analysis for all eight races on the card. Good luck, punters!

Track Condition: Good 4

Rail Position: Out 5m, entire circuit

Fascinating race. BUCHAN HOAKS was huge odds on debut and was 5th. It was a really encouraging run and he will be big odds again, but more suited to this as it’s 200m further. CHILULA resumes from a spell here but looks the one to beat. That’s based on impressive form in stronger mdn company when last in work. FLOREAT PICA has drawn well and was most impressive when resuming from a spell and a solid 2nd. Fitter now.

CUBAN TOONITE is always right there at the end of these races. Is very honest and the 3kg claim here is a massive help. LAVROVSKY broke through first up for a game win. Fitter now and was consistent last campaign although this is much harder. IN HEART’S WAKE has the bad draw here but ran to the line strongly when 2nd last start, after being on pace all the way, at her first start for a few months. Fitter now.

My guess is, being 3rd up, SIRKOS might prove hard to beat. He’s fit and relishes this journey. Will run home hard. THE DELPHI was very good this grade when last in work and has had a couple of fitness races this time up. Should be close. VELLASPRIDE has been runner-up at 3 of past 4 starts and that is good form for this level.

This looks a good race full of intrigue. HEART OF GRACE came to Australia with stakes ability and was beaten 70 lengths on her Aussie debut. Surely is better than that and does drop in grade. SEEWHAT SHEBRINGS was impressive winning first up. Up in class but is in a strong stable. SOVEREIGN AWARD is resuming here but showed class when last in work. Might be pretty handy. Watch betting.

Emerging bunch. Last start winner DELIGHTFUL THOUGHT came flashing home from the tail to win mdn when fresh. Harder here but clearly has finishing power. ROYALTY is handsomely bred and showed quality winning his mdn last start similar trip. Should keep improving. ALADAALA has actually won 2 races, latest at Moe showing grit over final stages when resuming. Fitter now. Sure to show up.

Lottery. Anything can win so bet warily. CIELO D’ORO drew the fence last start, stayed there just off pace until the swung and finished well to win mdn. Harder here but should derive a great deal of benefit from that. TRUFFLE HOUSE, similarly, was a hard-finishing winner on debut last start. Should be rocketing home again. VARDA looks well placed. Runner-up in slightly better grade at past two and looms large.

This looks a nice spot for the toppie GOT THE MOVES. Has drawn well here following a strong 6th when resuming. Significant to note, did win 2nd up last  campaign and looks a bit better now. MISTER JAY mixes his form but won 2nd up last campaign and is 2nd up here too. SORA looked handy last campaign. Bound to have improved and market needs watching here first up.

MICKEY BLUE EYES needs to lift on recent form but can as he is the class of this race. WAR TIGER needs to watched. First start in Australia here and market is best guide. BLENDERS EDITION was a strong 5th when resuming last start. Lightly raced but is showing talent.  Big show.
