Form analyst, SCOTT MCDONELL, previews Wednesdays Sandown Hillside meeting, with horse racing tips and analysis for all 8 races on the Sandown Hillside  course. Good luck, punters!

Track Condition: Soft 6

Rail Position: Out 2m entire circuit

UNSTOPPABLE raced in some class races at her first prep and that included a Group 3 placing when ran on strongly at Caulfield. Would keep an eye on any stable support to see if she is forward enough first-up. Drawn to get all the favours.

Finishing position of PEGGY SELENE was better than finishing position suggests at The Valley last start when beaten less than a length. She gets her chance to return to winners stall.

DIESEL ‘N’ DUST was dominant maiden winner at Wodonga two starts back then went to town and just missed in a driving finish. Racing well and cannot leave out of winning chances.

WIDE AWAKE finished the race off hard when placed at The Valley last start. If leaders stop she will be the one to finish over the top of these.

REARD was making good late ground at The Valley last start after coming from a long way off them. This looks a nice race for him and if Billy Egan can sit a little closer in the run he should get his chance to return to winners stall.

SHAM I AM raced on the speed and finished touch too well for them winning maiden first-up then just did not finish race off well enough second-up. He should be at peak fitness third-up and he looks each way chance.

YULONG MINISTER gets back in right class. Last couple have been in better races than he finds here and he has just battled. Cannot leave him out of multiples.

GIBBON was less than 2 lengths off the winner at Cranbourne last start and did not have all that much luck in the straight. If he can see some clear air last 200m he will be powering over these.

METEOR LIGHT won in better company than this three starts back. Placed behind a couple of in form gallopers this track/distance last start and from ideal barrier he should get all the favours.

PROTECTION MONEY won with something in hand two starts back then chased home Blandford Lad when placed here last start. That form looks solid enough for this and he gets chance to return to winners stall.

LIGHT PILLAR fought the race out strongly at Bendigo last start but just missed in a driving finish. Sure to go forward and sit in first couple and will fight this race out to the line.

GREY KHAN will give them something to chase from the front. Not sure they will give him as easy a time as last start when held on to place at Lakeside but he is sure to take catching.

MAGNOLIA MAN crosses the Tasman with some solid form having won two of three starts first prep and placed in the other run. Resumes with the in form Busuttin/Young stable and although drawn awkwardly has Oliver aboard and happy to go with him on each way basis.

SCORPIUS was placed at Caulfield two back then just did not finish race off well enough after leading last start. Has horror draw but if he can find a position up forward early may take some catching.

Pay to forgive the run of MEAN MISTER at Lakeside last start when had torrid run on the speed three wide before fading final stages. Should get a better run and can bounce back in this field.

SWING AND BOOM resumes from spell. Won her maiden at Cranbourne when fresh last time in work before winning in town at next start. She may find her best when first-up.

RICH HIPS relished the heavy ground to win at Lakeside first-up from spell then just missed in much better race than this last start at Caulfield. This a winnable race and she is top pick.

THOUSAND WISHES resumes from spell. Not beaten all that far at Ballarat first-up last time in work before a successful campaign. Will get nice run in behind the speed and should have last crack at these.

KISS AND CRY is another first-up from spell. Won first-up last time in work and from ideal barrier she should get her chance last 200m.

ZIZZIS has been little poor in three runs this prep but she has been finishing off as though looking for the extra distance and would not be surprised to see her improve.

BLINDER just got going a little too late in the small field at Sale last start but still liked the way he hit the line. Looks ready third-up from spell and he is good enough to get away with this.

Had something each way on SHE’S ON TIME at Flemington first-up but she just wanted to overrace a touch and only one paced late. Fitter and would expect her to improve on that outing.

Liked the way IN GOOD HEALTH got to the line when placed at Flemington first-up when ran into late placing in the big field. Drawn a touch awkwardly but she will be powering home final stages.

IMPERIAL DAWN was strong to the line at Bendigo first-up. Drawn perfectly behind the speed and she should have last crack at leaders.

APPROACH DISCREET looks close to a win. Placed in both runs this time in and this looks a nice race for him to return to the winners stall. Oliver takes the ride and that a positive.

OCEAN MISS has won two of her three starts this time in and only other run was in the Rivette Series Final. She gets right race in town and can figure.

QUALITY APPROACH relished the heavy ground winning at The Valley two starts back then was beaten less than 2 lengths at Sale last start. Likely to get wet conditions again and must include in chances.

RIPPA CHOICE was close up when placed at Lakeside two starts back then $7.50 into $3.90 last start and not disgraced. Must include in multiples.

EXQUISITE BEAUTY resumes from spell. She was placed first-up last time in work before winning at The Valley next start. Drawn little awkwardly but happy to have something each way on her.

ZOUJEA is another first-up. She was placed this track/distance on heavy ground fresh last time in work and must keep her safe again.

CHICA BONITA started cricket score odds in much better race at Caulfield last start and she was not disgraced. Back in winnable class here and would not leave out of multiples.

SALTY KISSES powered home at Cranbourne last start for an eye catching win. That followed a string of minor placings this track. She can win again.
