Track Condition: Good 4
Rail Position: Out 10m entire circuit
HORRIFYING just got bit too far off them at Lakeside first-up from spell. Made good late ground last 200m and not beaten all that far. Strips fitter and he was placed second-up at Bendigo last prep.
PILOTE comes into this ready third-up from spell. Relished the heavy ground making late ground when placed at Ballarat last start and the extra 100m ideal.
CARRIER BUSTER is threatening to win her maiden. Placed at Pakenham two starts back then was beaten less than a length at Lakeside. Cannot leave out.
HA SHE started this prep with a couple of placings then just got too far back last start at Sale. Drawn touch awkwardly but this not a difficult maiden.
Like the trial form of the Godolphin ORYX. Damien Oliver takes the ride and from ideal draw happy to have something on him on debut.
Chris Waller produces a daughter of Brazen Beau in YOU LIKE. Won recent Flemington jumpout with something in hand and expect she will have support.
QEYAADY has the advantage of race experience on these. Well held in Listed company here on debut then finished prep with Valley placing. Awkward draw but must respect fresh from spell.
MISTER ME is half brother to the consistent Chamois Road. Looked to have ability winning a Cranbourne jumpout and cannot leave out at first start.
MISTER YU SHU has just been overracing a touch in his races of late and that has cost him as has not finished off well enough. Third-up from spell and looks ready to win.
ALWAYS IN MOMENT gave maiden field a galloping lesson at Pakenham first-up from spell. Drawn ideally and she will win better races this campaign.
STAREDOWN is another who comes off what was dominant maiden win at Terang last start. Sure to find this a little harder but drawn to get the perfect run.
MAUSER resumes. He was never far away in his races last time in work and although needs much further before finding best form he may run cheeky placing fresh.
Tip: MISTER YU SHU
PRIDE OF JENNI is the class runner in this. Listed placed at Flemington before going for a break. If she is forward enough she will take some beating.
SEB SONG is another resuming from a spell. Broke maiden status in impressive fashion at The Valley before going for a break. Looks smart and must include in winning chances.
THOMAS HAWK was strong last 200m winning his maiden at Cranbourne. Takes on a tougher affair in town but would include in place chances.
Really liked the way BEAU ROSSA attacked the line to win in Adelaide last start. Must always be careful when Will Clarken crosses the border and he is up to winning this.
Tip: PRIDE OF JENNI
PARIANO was dominant winning in Adelaide two starts back then took on better race last start and kept chasing home soundly. Perfect barrier draw and she looks a major player in this field.
LADY SOLLY strung together a couple of strong wins this prep then she was beaten less than 2 lengths at The Valley last start. That form looks strong for this.
ALL OF BRIGHTON resumes. Finished last prep with a couple of solid wins including last start on heavy ground at Flemington. Big watch fresh.
KALKARNI ROYALE resumes. Has won fresh and was competitive in some nice races to end last campaign. Nicely drawn and must include in multiples.
Sticking with MISS INBETWEEN on each way basis. Craig Williams stays on board and she had not been beaten all that far in last couple and most recent was in Group 3 company. Like her in this class.
SIRILEO MISS showed an exciting turn of hoof winning at Lakeside last start. Drawn to get the perfect run in transit and should get her chance at some stage in straight.
CIRRINA led throughout to win here two starts back then backed that up last start when beaten less than 2 lengths. Cannot leave her out of multiples.
WITCHFULTHINKING makes her own luck rolling forward in her races and she was good at Mornington first-up. If she can find a position from awkward gate she can figure.
Tip: MISS INBETWEEN
DIRTY DEEDS race on the speed and only just missed here last start. Drawn to sit close again and he should get his chance to go one better.
AKECHETA comes to town in winning form having won with authority at last couple at Pekenham. Drawn touch awkwardly but cannot knock winning form.
RECKONING started favourite at Wangaratta first-up but after covering extra ground and racing keenly just did not finish race off. Fitter and would not leave out of chances.
LAUNDY resumes from spell. He will be better when he gets over further than this but may run a cheeky race fresh.
Tip: DIRTY DEEDS
Going to have something on the import KILLOURNEY to finish the program. Drove hard and was not beaten far when placed in small field here at Australian debut. Sure to be fitter from that outing and he will make his presence felt.
EXCELLERATION is the obvious favourite. Dominant winning at Lakeside first-up and if he can hole that form he can win again.
LEGEND OF ZORRO chased home soundly to get up in last couple of strides winning in Adelaide last start and that made it two in a row. No reason he will not be in finish again.
KANSINO won a couple in a row at this track then took on Group 3 company at Flemington last start and although never threatened was not far away. Drawn to get ideal run.
