Palmerbet Racing Team previews Saturday’s meeting at Rosehill, with horse racing tips and analysis for all nine races on the card. Good luck, punters!

Rail Position: Out 3 metres, entire circuit
Track Condition: Good 4

The big obvious question is how good, or how fast, or both is this TABLE MOUNTAIN? He’s bred to stay yet has dazzling speed and his recent trial win was breath taking. Watch market as he may be very smart. Goulburn horse MISSED OUT has form around some enterprising types down in Canberra. If he brings that here he’s a big player while JET GIRL is fast and in form. Place show.

Staying race with plenty of Chris Waller trained runners, but we think another stable may steal the cash here. Just forgive and forget and bet again. That’s the advice for those who burned their fingers on NICCI’S GOLD last start. She, on paper, was safely beaten over 1800m at this level, but she should have won. Could not find a gap when probing and full of running at the 200m last start. Has another inside draw here but surely, surely they get her to the outside this time. BRACES and FIREMAN SAM I AM  are in form and can keep the Waller juggernaut out of the money.

The toppie here BERGERAC is in career best form and showed that this grade last start wearing down Mr Tickets to win handsomely. Behind him that day was ISLAND MISSILE in 3rd. It must be said, he was a little stiff and does meet Bergerac better at the weights. They look the main players from REIBY RAMPART.

Gee there was a lot to like about the way this former Kiwi OUR MALAMBO weaved between runners in BM 70 on Australian debut, and ran away to score in good time. Yes this is much harder but she just might be thriving in the Aussie sun. Her stablemate, the boomed filly SWEET SCANDAL goes for 4 on the trot here and looks hard to beat. She can sit off a cracking pace and charge away as she showed last start. Is improving every run. ALL TOO SOON is interesting. Did win when resuming last time in. This is harder but may have improved.

Good, strong fast field. The Kris Lees pair of TACTICAL ADVANTAGE and DAL CIELO will be right in this, as they were when they both last raced, running the quinella this grade. But at the weights, Godolphin’s up and coming sprinter TREKKING appeals the most. His form over the past year is right up to this and his recent barrier trial run was very impressive. Should get favours in the run here too. And remember too, he is lightly raced and the camp like him a lot.

Should be a cracker. This should be a mouth-watering, top clash between some rising young stars like LEGEND OF CONDOR, SANDBAR and PLAGUE STONE. It’s a bit of a lottery trying to pin point the winner actually, but if you saw the way Plague Stone savaged the line when resuming last start you had to be impressed. The Godolphin camp have always had him in the elite category and last start he showed what he could do. If he brings that to this race, he stamps himself a real star of the future. Watch market.

Strong race. MISTER SEA WOLF was very powerful final 100m of the Listed 1500m race last start. That is this level grade and the extra trip is a big help too. Does rise in weight but looks sharp and in form. LIAPARI did beat him at level weights 2 runs back when a $51 chance. Has since failed but is better placed this longer journey and can bounce back. HARPER’S CHOICE has been freshened for this. Is a dour, solid stayer and will plug on gamely here.

Very even field. Absolute lottery in fact. We do have the return of a bonafide Gr 1 horse in PRIZED ICON here. He resumes, with a claim and has trialed really well. Don’t let him under your guard. Former Kiwi star I AM COLDPLAY has been thrashed in only 2 barrier trials since joining the Chris Waller stable but then fronts up to race with Hugh Bowman to steer. Respect that. FLOW is up in grade but in career best form and rates a strong place show.

STAR OF MONSOON comes into play here at the weights. Will be on pace all way. This is an even field and the betting should reflect that, but often when that happens the top weight is overlooked in the market. This bloke’s 2 starts this time up have been absolute rippers and he rates very highly. PARET was beaten by Star Of Monsoon when they last met but he has since won himself impressively. Doesn’t figure well at the weights back up against his old foe though. GITAN is fast and will be near lead all way.
