Form analyst, SCOTT MCDONELL, previews Wednesday’s Eagle Farm meeting, with horse racing tips and analysis for all 6 races. Good luck, punters!
Track Condition: Good 4
Rail Position: Out 12m entire circuit
KOLLUR was in the market here first-up from spell but she looked like she was in need of the run when making good late ground. This not a difficult affair and she should be right in the mix.
NEARBY was placed at Doomben on debut then she was just bit one paced here last start but still not beaten all that far. Only needs to hold that form to be right in the mix.
BRILLIANTLY is a debutant who has been placed in both trials. Always an advantage to draw the fence when having first start and expect she will have plenty of stable support.
SERENE AFFAIR strung together a couple of solid placings then went to Ipswich and was $4.80 out to $9 in the market and ran accordingly. She can sneak into a placing in this.
I am going to tip MCCOVERY COVE again as he looks primed to win a race. Two solid placings to begin this prep then was not beaten all that far last start. Drawn ideally and going to have something each way.
DARING BELLE is racing in super form having won two of her last three starts. Strong late winning in similar race to this last start and no reason she cannot win again.
REBEL ROCK comes into this ready third-up from spell. Placed at Gold Coast fresh then went to Sunshine Coast and was again competitive. Drawn to get ideal run in transit.
MACCHINA VOLANTE took on much better race at Doomben first-up from spell and just found it a little too hot. Fitter and gets back in right race.
Tip: MCCOVERY COVE
PRINCESS TENKO looks the one to beat. She was strong winning at Ipswich two starts back then came to town and just found one better. This no harder and clear top pick.
DEJANOVA took on much better race here last start and just did not measure up to them. Back in easier company and from inside gate she should get her chance.
PRINCESS KAYO broke through for a well deserved win at Toowoomba last start after a string of minor placings. Comes to town and she can figure in placings.
JEEHAAN has shown enough in her two trials since coming to Queensland. He finished first prep with a maiden win at Wangaratta and drawn to get perfect run.
Tip: PRINCESS TENKO
Liked the win of KUDU here last start and that made it two wins from his last three starts. Should measure up to this and he can win again.
LEVI’S STORM only had the one run at Tamworth last time in work and he gave them a galloping lesson winning as he liked. He has won trial leading into this and should be forward enough.
GLOCK finished too well to win at Lismore two starts back then he came to town and only just missed in driving finish. Will get nice run from barrier and he will be in finish again.
EL COYOTE resumes from spell. Comes off a solid trial win this track and his form last time in work as not too bad. Can sneak a place.
KINGSTON’S HERE gave them a galloping lesson at Gold Coast first-up then he has followed up with two strong city placings. He gets his chance to return to winners stall.
GDANSK is overdue for a win this campaign after three solid placings leading into this. Need some luck from awkward gate but cannot leave out of winning chances.
MOB BUSTER was thrown in the deep end in the Gunsynd Classic last start but he ran an enormous race when placed behind the smart Ayrton. If he found that form he would be too good for these.
REAL EMPRESS has started big odds in both runs back from spell but not been beaten far in either run. Comes into this third-up from spell and ready to find best form.
Tip: KINGSTON’S HERE
GOLDSCHLAGER is racing as if she is ready to win. Not far away in town two starts back then got within a length of winner at Ipswich last start. Drawn ideally and going to have something each way.
SCISSORHANDS was impressive finishing all over them to win her maiden this track last start. Should be at prime fitness third-up and she can make it two in a row.
I AM A BEAUTY looked impressive winning his maiden by a space at Grafton first-up from spell. Sure to be better from the outing and from ideal barrier cannot leave him out of winning chances.
KANALAIDE relished the heavy ground at Tamworth last start and won his maiden in a canter. If he gets similar conditions can measure up to these.
