Form analyst, SCOTT MCDONELL, previews Wednesday’s Bendigo meeting, with horse racing tips and analysis for all 8 races on the card. Good luck, punters!

Track Condition: Soft 5

Rail Position: Out 9m entire circuit

Damien Oliver takes the ride on interesting Starspangledbanner debutant in CLASSY BANNER. Logan McGill trains and would be keeping a very close eye on any market moves. Happy to have something each way.

RAAZOU was in the market on debut on the Synthetic and he chased home a smart one. Sure to show natural improvement off that race experience and must include in winning chances.

SENSATIONAL REWARD was placed in the same race as Raazou on the Pekenham Synthetic. Another who looks to have plenty of improvement and although awkwardly drawn cannot leave out.

FIXATED looks close to maiden win. Placed in jis last couple and from ideal barrier draw he should get all the favours and with an ounce of luck from the corner can win this.

PROTECTION MONEY was a strong winner in town two starts back then although little one paced here last start did keep coming and ran into minor placing. Finds similar race and can get away with this.

BOX ON COLLINS was beaten less than a length in Adelaide last start. Ready to find best form and this looks nice race for him to figure.

BARADE was dominant winning in this class last start. This does look a little harder but the extra distance a bonus and cannot leave out.

MINOLA took on a hot race at Caulfield last start and although finished back in second half was not disgraced. Back in her right class and can improve off that outing.

STARDAYZ did a few things wrong here two starts back but still won on raw ability. I tipped her in town last start but she was exposed out front and just faded late. If she can control this from the front she will take some catching.

HIGHCLASS HARRY is another who likes to sit up on the speed and has been racing in super form. Won three straight before just missing in town last start. He will be in this for a long way.

Thought BLINDER was touch disappointing in town last start when little one paced. Drawn nicely and if he can find best form will be a factor.

THE WRANGLER just missed in town two starts back then was only overran last 200m last start in nice race. This a winnable race for him.

FIORENTE’S GIRL is working through her grades with authority. Two solid wins on the Pakenham Synthetic leading into this. Back on the turf is her query but happy to go with her.

Liked the way CAMELLE hit the line at Mornington last start when just missed. Gets out to the mile third-up from spell and she will be the one to watch from the back.

FUDGED relished the heavy ground in town last start when led all the way. She can control this and may steal it from the corner.

SHUSH is racing as though she is looking for the 1600m. Third-up from spell suggests she is ready to find her best form.

This is a hot Class 1 race with plenty of last start winners in the field.
BRANDER’S RULE was beaten just on 2 lengths in Group 3 company two back then back to Caulfield last start but did not figure. Back in much easier company and although drawn in the car park happy to put him on top.

EARLY MORNING RISE has been solid in both runs back figuring in placing on both occasions. Oliver takes the mount and she looks a major player in this field.

MONTIA never looked happy on the heavy ground at Moonee Valley last start and prepared to forget that run. Was competitive in Listed company at previous start and that form good enough for this.

The big query in the race is SANCTIMONIOUS. He has not raced for just over 2 years. He has won both trials leading into this and class will take him a long way first-up.

SHOTMAKER looked to have his chance this track/distance here last start but just found a couple better late. Promising gelding and want to give him another chance in this class.

POLANCO was beaten just on 2 lengths in Listed company at Caulfield before going for break. Always going to find them too slick first-up but sure to strip fitter and he has won second-up.

WESTBROOK PARK started favourite at Flemington last start but just got too far back and only got going late. He has won previous two starts and this looks nice race for him to bounce back in.

THE DIFFERENCE brings some strong winning form across the border. Lines up nicely against these and he is sure to be a factor.

Thought NAMIBIA would have run on a bit better than she did when pulled wide here last start but was just little flat. Strips fitter second-up and the extra distance looks ideal.

Forget CLOUDBREAKER went around on the heavy ground at Moonee Valley first-up. Raced in some nice races at first prep and she looks a smart filly. Can bounce back in this.

MIDNIGHT MAGIC is a big query resuming from spell. Crosses the Tasman for the Moroney stable and her form in New Zealand was solid. Cannot dismiss.

THE NATURAL raced on speed for a long way in Listed class in Adelaide before break. She has won fresh and expect she will be competitive.

SAM’S IMAGE looks well placed in this field first-up. Competitive in better races last time in work and if he is forward enough can get away with this.

THE GAUCH demolished them from the front at Mornington last start. If he can get away with some cheap sectionals in the middle stages he may steal this from the corner.

JERLE chased home the in form Peggy Selene in town last start. That form looks strong enough to be a factor in this.

CLIFFS OF BELAURA started odds on first-up and came from the back for last start win. Sure to strip fitter for this and if leaders stop she will be the one to watch late.
