Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, looks at today’s race meetings and singles out his top three horse racing tips from Queanbeyan and Bathurst  – he is confident. Good luck, punters!

Lots of chances here with a couple backed overnight including MAGICAL ANGEL and AKELA’S CHARM. And, presumably this pair can fight the race out. Magical Angel to me looks the main one. She’s a 4YO who has been lightly raced with just four runs to her name but her past two have been excellent lead-ups for this. Both times she ran 4th in provincial maidens when being on pace. Probably can lead today and is fit enough to keep the fight going to the end. Similarly, Akela’s Charm has run solid 4ths at her past two runs. Quinella them.

The three scratchings make this a field easier for the lightly raced LITTLE HELA to handle. She should step and charge and be in the top five to the bend, which is practically essential at this track, then come with a rush. She did that last start at big odds in this gated and ran a closing 2nd. That experience will help her here. THE TAPSTER met with a lot of backing overnight and resumes here. Is very fast.  Will be my quinella.

What a terrific race. Two horses who locked horses and went one, two when they last met, are back to do it all again here. They are TIME TO DAZZLE, who won by half a length that day, and CAREERING AWAY, who led and was nabbed late. This is nearly 200m less and they meet on the same weight scale. With 200m to go last time, Careering Away was in front. He has taken improvement from that race and since won. I think he can lead all the way here too as this is a leaders track.
