Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, looks at today’s race meetings and singles out his top three horse racing tips from Newcastle  and Dubbo – he is confident. Good luck, punters!

I think this is a battle in two. Newcastle visitor DUCHESS NICCI gets a welcome 2kg claim and has had one start to date, a courageous 2nd when leading from the get go over 1000m at Tamworth. She led, kicked and fought hard narrowly yielding in the final stages. One would expect she has improve off that experience and tightened up. Will need to have because this is 100m further and there is one who has been backed overnight to win the race 0n EXOTIC ENTERPRISE. She is yet to run a place from 3 starts but they have been in stronger races than this and has trialled very well of late.  Is the obvious danger.

Interesting race. The race could be divided into a pair of themes. We have TEA LEAVES driving forward and hoping to lead all the way and GYMNASTICS sitting back near last hoping to swamp them late. Both, while racing in those patterns, placed in similar races last start and both are ready to win. This big long straight probably suits the back marker a tad more.

This is a good field and a likely quinella race from where I sit. CASCADIAN and PURPLE SECTOR do appear the ones to beat. Both last raced in the $1m The Gong, Cascading was 5th and Purple Sector 7th. Both were at the end of their preps. I see them both sitting off a good tempo here and then their class kicking in late. Both run well while fresh. And both have had two pleasing recent trials. I tend to think the most class is with Cascadian more.  Quinella bet for sure.
