Form analyst, RIC CHAPMAN, looks at today’s race meetings and singles out his top three horse racing tips from Orange and Port Macquarie this afternoon.

This looks a competitive race. Two last start winners, both of whom achieved that against older horses. But, I like the unraced AMERICAN PRESIDENT. He was cantering recently when 4th in a strong city trial. Drawn to sit about 5th here and should have cover. Looked very strong late in his trial even under a strangle-hold. There has been good, astute money for him overnight too. SHE LOVES RUBIES showed good speed to win on debut here and should be in the fray all the way again.

Fascinating race. There are three who like to lead here and one that loves a hectic early pace. There appears every chance the pace will be a cracker with FEARLESS MIA, WOULD BE KING and MADISON POINT, all recent winners, by leading all the way, making sure there is a great pace for last start back marker MORE SHOTS. She has won her past two by storming home from the back. Does look a terrific tactical contest but I do like horses who finish races off.

Kris Lees saddles two runners here, EIGHTH IMMORTAL and MEYER. He has his 2kg apprentice on Eighth Immortal and that claim has tipped him in favour for this. Not happy with him being awkwardly in 11 so Dylan Gibbons will have to use his skills to find cover but with the horse being 3rd up and following a strong finishing 2nd in this grade last start, he should run boldly. Meyer has the talent but resumes here with 61kg. Probably have in the quinella bet. Good race.
